I looked into it a bit more, and unfortunately a browser version would take more work than I can commit to right now. It’s not just a different export: I’d need to change how the game loads its data and saves settings, optimize the character graphics for browser memory and download sizes, and test the simulations and controls across browsers. Even without custom character support, that’s quite a bit of work for a separate demo.
If downloading an unfamiliar executable is part of your concern, I completely understand. Quite a few people have already downloaded the game, and I haven’t received any reports of security issues. That’s reassuring, though of course download numbers alone aren’t proof of safety, and I wouldn’t expect you to download something you’re not comfortable with.
For now, I’m sticking with the downloadable version. Thanks for understanding!
