I got done with all the guild reports a while ago and it's funny how some of them have specific descriptions of you helping the surveyors find the thing, and then a bunch of them are just like "yeah no you missed this landmark", "might be this way but I can't be 100% sure" "those maps are way too big bro, you're just gonna go nowhere"

...Also am I going crazy or do the enemies show up slightly less in the Inner Mono Wildernesses??? I swear the number of defeated monsters grows slower there than anywhere else.

There is definitely some developer fatigue showing in my game. I appreciate when it gets pointed out though, because it makes me go back and look again at what I actually wanted something to say instead of just leaving the first functional version there. This game is about a month and a half old and it’s come so far from where it started that there are definitely places where the newer parts make the older rough edges more obvious.

And you may not be going crazy on the Inner Mono Wildernesses either. I’m going to check the enemy scaling there specifically rather than telling you it’s intentional from memory, because that’s exactly the sort of thing that can get buried when I’ve been changing progression around it.

Edit: You are correct. Inner Mono has 110 intervals vs 30 for everywhere else. This was a placeholder timer from when I was creating the area to ensure it was working as intended. I will be releasing the fix in my next patch, thank you for calling it out.

Inner Mono Wildernesses at the very least seem to use a somewhat different template, so if you updated something somewhere else, they might have fallen through.

For example, they're the only ones that list their enemies on the main page. They're also in a different elemental order in the Bestiary compared to Outer and Deep Mono.

...Also can't imagine how much text there is to go through on the dev side at this point. It's just something I've noticed since I was going through multiple of the guild report flavor text each day.

Yep, there are a few things I did differently there and forgot to bring back in line with the rest of the game.

There is so much text. I wrote a book's worth of ideas, dialogue, and storyboarding before I even started developing the game. I assumed it would be enough to carry me through to the end, but now that I'm about a month and a half into development, I know better.
