Interesting interpretation, definitely needs better feedback when a building is fully evacuated especially for those that have a colored roof
Some builldings made it hard to know if they were already saved completely or not. I lost at 1199 people with a lot of time left and it was almost impossible to know where the last missing person was. It gets really repetitive after playing 3 waves because you already get to use every mechanic in the game. I wish that there was more strategy on where to use each power up. Overall an interesting play nonetheless.
The fact some of the buildings had a roof that didn't turn green when completely empty did throw me off a bit, but otherwise very fun! I did end up just investing all of my credits into the early warning system and megaphone and I'm not sure if that was the intended experience, but it felt very nice to win a round in only 2 clicks
I enjoyed this game. I wish there was a better indicator for when a building only has a few people left inside, as I found myself frantically sweeping over the city trying to find the last few lol. Overall well done
Solid game. Every scrap of bubble wrap I've ever had in my hands... has been preparing me for this moment.
Thank you I appreciate it!
Good job on the game, I enjoyed it. The progression was very good, the theme also on point. Just that my pointing finger was very exhausted at the end 😅
I feel like the megaphone was the best strat even if the shorter ranger higher value should have balanced it
Haha yeah balance was a game of trying to make the game beatable quickly vs the challenge
Design and color palette is beautiful
Out of so many incrementals I saw this one is a more polished one
Congrats on your first gwj entry, good job
Thank you! It was a struggle to balance between challenge and letting the player actually beat the game in the 5/10 mins someone will play something in a game jam
nice game, the menus could use some work, looks very good
Thank you!
Really charming concept! Got to the point where Id two tap the map with megaphones range. #meta
Haha yes, I think by the end it gets really easy to become over powered. But I thought for a game jam its better to be OP than not be able to win!
Beautiful game! One of my favorites from this jam so far!
Wow that means so much to hear! :D
Very fun game! Seeing those blue bars jump up with a fully upgraded megaphone was very satisfying
Thank you so much!
A fun play, a lot of click mashing to find those last 2 people but I finally got everyone out
Well done
Thank you!
Surprisingly nice!
Loved the animations a lot, the sounds were on point
The only issue I had was that I couldn't pan or rotate the camera, so the upper part of the city covered by a timer was inaccessible for me sometimesIt was the keyboard layout, xdBut besides that a very fun little game, would love to see it evolve into something bigger!
Apologies about they keyboard layout, I had planned on adding key customisation but life got in the way!
I'm glad you enjoyed the game!
Everything about this game is great! Awesome choice to do the graphics in isometric 3D, made the cityscapes so pleasant to look at. The music is such a good addition too, sets the tone right away and blends perfectly with the SFX.
Embarrassed to say I kept playing for quite a while after I saved everyone the first time, hoping for a secret ending haha.
Had a lot of fun, nice job!
Ahh thank you so much, the more I think about it the more I think I should have added a secret ending
Fantastic, I played this game for way longer than I should have
Thank you so much! I really appreciate it
Had a lot of fun with this. I saved Reddalford after 17:45. Its always nice to play a game where you save instead of kill!
That's a good time! I was able to save the city at 08:05 before some balance haha
Had a lot of fun playing this! Very well done! Mechanics are great! Good job on your first jam game!
Thank you!
Had a lot of fun playing this. The color change on the buildings is such a cool indicator. The music selection is great. Awesome work on a very unique game! I'll be coming back to play more :)
2 Notes:
- The game page was hard to navigate because the game window size is so large. I couldn't see a good chunk of the screen and couldn't play the game for a bit while I figured out how to zoom out significantly.
- When you pause the screen, the timer doesn't pause.
Ahhh I knew there would be a bug like that in there :( but thanks for the comments I appreciate it! :D
You're welcome, it was genuinely so fun! I played for a long time. Could definitely see this as a full game
It’s very pretty and the people actually leaving is such a great touch. Really great audio design with the various tools. It took me a bit to figure out I had to click the buttons along the bottom to use the other items.
Thank you! And noted about the buttons along the bottom, could have made them clearer! Thank you for the feedback
hey notgeorgehere,
I liked the colore change for the evacuation progress on the buildings. Also feeling the progression after each day was noticable. The BGM was super classi and fun to listen to. All in all a good job with this entry!
Thank you so much!
