How does your game meet GBJam's theme
Okay so: i related the "gold" with the best games to come out on the game boy era, with the first example being super mario land 2, and old of course relating with the nolstalgia of the game boy: Old Gold -> Best Old Games in one cartridge! And for those who couldn't have the game boy and had to play with the brick game 9999 in one WILL relate with the old gold thing.

Cute game! Really impressive that you made it all by yourself.
Found it a bit too punishing, with falling into holes being a straight-up game over (for the first game). The hit points not being reset in the next level of the game also added insult to injury.
It really captured the aesthetic of the gameboy games! Up to the selected palette. At the same time, the controls felt very responsive.

A simple but nice little platformer.
I reached the end flag with 5 coins, but nothing seemed to happen, so I wasn't sure if I had actually completed the game or if I was missing something.
hey, thanks! You actually missed something! You need 6 coins to unlock the flag ;) I actually did not have time to implement a visual sign for it cause I was alone at development so yeah… Once again thank you for the review :)
I managed to go to the flag of the first level but nothing happens. Am I missing something ?
I tried the web version and the linux one, and the same thing happens in both.
hey! As I said on another post, you actually need 6 coins to unlock the flag! Since I was alone for this game jam I did not have time to do a visual warning for this and I do actually plan on doing it!
If you want to actually unlock the next phase, have you thought on checking the pits? 👀👀
