How does your game meet GBJam's theme
churro is a real cat. one of our team found him in China, brought him home, and has treasured him ever since, so he's literally their old gold. the coins in the game stick around too, so gold from wave 2 is still lying there when you eventually get a vacuum, and anything you hoard ultimately becomes part of your score.

I had fun playing this! My cat seemed to enjoy this as well as he was intently trying to get on my keyboard whilst playing this.
Amazing job! I spent a considerable amount of time trying my best not to get hit by the bees and the running / dashing things but im not that good with these kinds of games. You could say, that this game is gold.
Really amazing, i love the graphics and sound effects a lot,
it felt so polished!, the lil small menues designs was so good,
i didnt really see the theme in the game honestly, but still the gameplay was realy

the controls are very simple, and the objective is very clear
the difficulty curve is also very well balanced. I still had to think about my positioning and how to approach the bosses, even though I had some crazy buffs from the store
the art was also very pleasant and silly

I would die for churro .The flow of leveling up and timing the fish is super addictive! All the sprites are so dang cute its insane.Such fluid gameplay. I felt the balance between the passive and active combat was spot on. The game also squeezed a lot of dynamic juice from the simple player and enemy movement mechanics. Great work!
