I wasn't able to complete it, but it was pretty fun! The minotaurs were very difficult to shake and getting caught in a web near them was basically a game over.

One critique, the death sound effect was very loud compared to the music.

Overall though, I had fun playing and trying to puzzle out stuff like arrow timing. I enjoyed the art and music a lot.

I am so glad you re-shared this in the discord! I really enjoy this game and concept! The gameplay is smooth and easy to understand. My favorite part is even on easy mode, you have to think about where you are moving of the minotaur will get you. The applied UI to see its movement was a nice touch too!

Lovely work on the music and sprites! Cheers

This looks and sounds great with a neat concept of time moving alongside you, letting you plan your next move. Coins required to win the game also give you reason to explore the whole map. The dash took me time to get used to but it works well when I realised I can phase through cobwebs and arrows. Escaping the minotaur's predetermined attacks feels so satisfying.

Maybe the visuals could've felt more like a Game Boy game and I did encounter some issues with enemy collision and you don't stop moving when you die. Nothing game breaking, though.

Pretty good entry!

Solid gameplay. It felt rewarding to proactively plan how to tackle a sequence with a minotaur on your butt.

Gameplay and graphics were good! I liked the gameboy feel from the game, and the theme was really good! Good work!

you nailed the use of colors, and your itch page looks fantastic also all of your character design says you know your stuff skill issue or not wasn't able to beat it but the mix of fast paced and puzzle is amazing

Really cool little game! I found that the arrows and other objects on screen were really legible, even when everything was moving only when the player moved. I found that really cool!

I love the greek, also i like how it is so turn-based and how things move with you. Great job!

Love greek theme. Took me 3-4 tries to understand what is going on, but I liked dynamic puzzles. Great game

Interesting little puzzles with the movement types and the environment, I do like the minotaurs are overtuned, because most if my escapes were, corner, press K all the time, move out fast, instead of luring them around webs and corners. Maybe consistent but lesser movement, question mark? Could be a design space to experiment with.

Graphically the game looks spotless, really well done with both the sprite work and the color choice.

Sfx and mx were great composition as well!

Overall, well done, cool entry!

I really, really enjoyed the music. TheBigfriendlyWizard, you rock. That driving bass and percussion on the stage theme are absolute chef's kiss.

The game as a whole was quite enjoyable, and it's close to being very accurate to the gameboy's limitations. It's a great balance between accuracy and not compromising the fun factor.

Awesome!

I might need a baby mode, lol. I died so much on easy, but it was still enjoyable. It's a solid action/puzzler. It was a game changer when i realized I could dodge OVER the arrows. Nicely done.

Love the ©1994 crazycat title screen. the minotaur only moving when you do turns every step into a decision, and the two tile dodge is a great way out when he gets close. nice job

I love me a good roguelike and this is a good roguelike! The sound design for the minotaur is amazing. Dodging them is fun and not to hard, but the way they stomp around still intimidates the crap out of me! The arrows, on the other hand, were just brutal.

wow! I like the artwork of the game and the enemy AI

plus I think this is my first time seeing a difficulty option for a jam game (tho I still sucked on the normal difficulty)
