How does your game meet GBJam's theme
The main character has inherited a great amount of gold from his father. He's a Nepo baby with old gold.

Thanks everyone for the feedback. I know gameplay needs work. I don't have time for game jams, I prolly won't do another one for a while.
Clever interpretation of the secondary theme, really creative stuff!
The caricatures reminded me of Gerald Scarfe’s work. Really biting stuff, and the whole game feels like an attack on the evils of AI and the 1%.
And why not? It’s all abysmally amoral and no one seems to care lol.
Loved the humour and the message. I died a lot. Death to the capitalist elite!
Thanks for the support, I had a good idea for the story, but the gameplay needs work. This is my first finished game with the godot engine and I'm hoping to use this game as a sort of springboard into something I can put effort in over time.
I liked the recoil when shooting, it could have made for an interesting platforming mechanic!
The window was a bit too small though, I could not see what was going on very well.
Still, nice job :)
Very unique concept. I like how you spun the No AI rule into a game about evil AI employees! My main suggestion would be to make the time it takes for the rooms to collapse much longer. You've got to go very fast otherwise :)
I commented on the wrong spot before, sorry!!! Anyways, I like the theme and the style! I did die a few times without knowing why

Thank you for the feedback! I should have made the enemy attacks more clear. They shoot on a timer and just sort of instantly kill you.
I liked the sound effects and the art style did look like old England. The controls were very twitchy and the hit boxes were unforgiving for a platformer. I also wasn't sure how I died sometimes as it was difficult to notice if the platform fell or the AI hit me? I got up to the bit past the first set of platforms, if you give me some tips I'll try and get further
The AI is on a timer at the start. Try to shoot them with the gold bricks before they can shoot you. If the gold bricks on the ground block you from moving on drop the ones you're holding and pick up the ones in the way. Oh and obstacles will block the bullet.
