How does your game meet GBJam's theme
Dig n' Crawl uses the "OLD GOLD" theme in both its setting and its mechanics, which are all built around retrieving old gold treasures. Sugi explores the ruins of an ancient kingdom once blessed by the gods, digging up treasures that have been buried for centuries. Every dig spot opens a small excavation minigame where you uncover relics of different sizes and value, and you need to bring back enough of that forgotten wealth to escape successfully.

That was really fun. I enjoyed the tension the ever-diminishing torch. I managed to beat all the levels, but missed exactly 1 treasure (torch ran out while digging) in each of the last two (after 2 tries each). Graphics were just gorgeous and wonderfully atmospheric!
Really great game! I really enjoyed how polished it feels, and the art is amazing!
This makes me miss my gameboy color. Gameplay loop is really fun and encourages you to try a level again and play around with the mechanics in new ways :)

This game is brilliant! A great interpretation of the theme, the art is incredible and the game as a whole feels like it could be played on a gameboy. The music is also very authentic to the gameboy's four sound channels. Great submission team :)
