Very fun game! This feels like a wario ware minigame which is awesome! Bite sized, simple and sweet. The mechanics are super simple but its very challenging and addicting. I find myself wanting to keep going and try getting a higher score! A minor nitpick for me is that I wish the buttons were keyboard keys so I can just keep my mouse on the objects that I need to action on. Very unique artstyle and the sounds are also on point! Overall, this was a really fun one and I had a blast playing it! Great work!!

Thank you for the kind words, and for playing! Considering you're the second person to comment on the lack of shortcuts, I should definitely consider them for any similar games in the future. :)

Definitely one of the most creative games in the jam! I like that it's not just a reskin of a sisyphean rage game, the different actions really make the game its own thing. Really well done for such a short jam!

Developer

Which game? (I might've actually played it or at least watched it, although, "sisyphean rage game" is a very broad category) Either way, thank you for playing :)

No particular game, I just meant about anything you might find while searching "Sisyphus". Not that there aren't other creative takes on it, I just mean your game stands out to me because it would've been easier (and less interesting) to have the player spam clicking a rock or balancing with wasd keys. I appreciate that the gameplay is more creative!

Cool game!  It's very simple but that makes it easy to understand how to play and how to get high scores.  I really like the art as well.  Nice job!

Developer

Thank you. :)

Wow, I really enjoyed the game! I reached 1254... that was fun! It was hard for me to click on weapons, maybe because of the icon. Great job!

Developer

Congrats on the score! I can see how the icons could get in the way. Unfortunately they were last minute additions, so I couldn't test nor change them.  Thanks for playing :)

THIS IS SO CREATIVE!

Developer

THANK YOU :D. Could I ask what you found so creative?(I'm being an artist right now, in that I can't accept complements lol)

After hitting 1000, I realized this game is so good. If the tomato went down by itself, it would be more challenging. But for now, it's really fun and really busy!

Developer

Thanks for playing! I had a few other things I wanted to implement before the deadline came along, like increasing the rate at which enemies and dirt would spawn. Additionally the tomato could get damaged as well (similar to how it could get dirty), and that was a whole other mechanic that had it's own button up until the last minute.

Cool game! I did get confused for a few mins trying to press the kick button and wondering why the gremlins wouldnt go down. Not sure if i missed instructions but good to add somewhere you need to click on the gremlins / the bird to beat em, the buttons just sets the tools. Also maybe worth a hotkey for the tools

Great work for a short jam! Get some sleep lol

Developer

Thank you! (I did get some sleep thanks). I was worrying about this exact scenario with the buttons not being clear, although I didn't know how to describe it, I'll go and update the games description. As for hotkeys, I feel like the fun comes from frantically grabbing the right tool for the job. But then again, I haven't tested that so I could be wrong lol. :)
