How does your game meet GBJam's theme
Rumsnuffle the dog has been sent on a mission. Uncovering treasure on a remote archipelago. But the truth is, Rumsnuffle doesn't care about gold or treasure.

The burrowing/pop-up mechanic is so fun! Unfortunately I had to stop playing after ~5-10 minutes of replaying the start of the game because I kept failing (usually by accidentally diving into the ocean/going sideways off platforms) and I got frustrated. Just a little too punishing for me. But the art is adorable, especially Rumsnuffle himself!
Thank you for the updated link. I enjoyed the game (although I haven't finished the last level yet). The sprite work is very pretty, and I love the burrowing mechanic.

This only seems to happen if you play at 60 or less fps.
i cannot get past the tutorial, but the game looks great and by the screenshots i can tell it is very fun!

The art is so cute and I really like the environment. Unfortunately I couldn't get past the tutorial on the first level. I'm releasing J and it launches me up but it just won't clear over the wall even though it looks like it should. I'll come back to this again later just in case it's user error. I hope I get to see the rest of it because even just that beginning area looks great!

A brilliant concept and a unique take on the theme! If there's one word I had to describe this game, it's 'charm'. I love the dogs animations and the burrowing mechanic reminds me of Mina the Hollower! It works perfectly as a platformer. There's a lot of polish here too - the addition of a tutorial level is a nice attention to detail. The only thing this game is missing is music! Other than that, excellent submission. Well done :)
