Pretty impressive that you managed to incorporate different boss fights (even if they were functionally the same). Unfortunately I got softlocked on day 5 after opening the chest in the center, I wasn't allowed to progress back down to the main path so I wasn't able to finish the game

Neat game!

My nitpicks are that I would have liked to see a bit more clearly how far my weapon reaches when attacking, and I sometimes took damage from crabs while changing screens, which feels a bit unfair.

Other than that, though, it was fun playing through the different days and fighting the bosses :)

Developer
thank you. yeah i'll have to look into making the range more apparent, and see what i can do about those pesky crabs

Good game! I had a good thing going with my +8 Gaff, but I died on the fifth island boss.

Developer
thanks, yes the gaff at +8 hits hard for sure. that boss is tricky, you have to kill the units he spawns before you can finish him off

This is so good! I do think the stun is a little too long  because you can stun lock the bosses pretty easily. Those crab guys are pretty tricky actually haha.

Developer
thank you, appreciate that. the stun is worth another look

Great work! Swapping the color palette was a cool way to add some variety without adding a ton of new assets. The boss fights are fun. All in all, a great effort!

Developer
thank you, appreciate that, glad you liked it

The boss fight mechanic was really fun! I'm not the best at these types of games, but it was still fun to attempt a few times lol. Loved the music, art and the color choices. Very good job :3

Developer(+1)
thank you, that means a lot. glad the boss fight and the color choices landed for you. and since you had a few goes at it, the title screen takes a code, up up down down left right left right then x and z, it opens a screen where you pick a cheat to help

that  fog of war  reminded me of steategy games like age of empires. and boss fight mechanics very cool!!

Developer
thank you, that means a lot. the fog of war comparison is a good one, and glad the boss fights landed for you

Really fun to play! I liked the color switching mechanic, and especially the variety of bosses and weapons.

Developer
thank you, that means a lot. glad the color switching clicked for you, and good to hear the bosses and the different weapons kept it varied

I actually hat a lot of fun with your game. I really enjoyed the boss battle with the drowned king, and then I saw the final time, and immediately played it again to speedrun. My time was 3:15 :)

Developer(+1)

thank you, and 3:15 is quick. hearing the timer sent you straight back in for another run is the best bit of this
