Had a fun time playing the game, I absolutely adore Minesweeper so I had a great time playing and I think the game really has that gameboy soul! Sadly I did run into some bugs, but I think for further development after ironing those out the game for sure has potential as a full release, super well done!

I really enjoyed the spins and upgrades you did for the minesweeper genre, got stuck a bit in the shop as I didn’t know I needed to press z to start the dialog. The upgrades are a nice idea though!

Graphics wise nothing gamebreaking or rulebreaking here, could totally see the game as a gameboy game!

While I did not enjoy the instruments for the main ost, music and sfx are well done.

Overall neat little minesweeper with some extras!

Wow, I really really likt the music of this game. In wich app did you write the music?

Developer

Thanks! The music was by my collaborator. He made it in GB Studio's music tools!

OK, I made my music in musescore.

Developer

I asked him about it. While he transcribed it into GB Studio's music tool, he first composed it with MIDI in Reason to work out the melody.

Played on Game Boy 🕹️

Not a fan of solitaire (I think thats the name of this game) in general so i did not enjoy it sadly 😅

It does have a game boy soul with some neat graphics. Sound was pretty repeditive and i encountered bugs when a marked flag tile just turned in to a warning flag.

Not a game for me but hope others will enjoy it 🙌

Good job!

Cool game, I especially love the comedy and the texts.

Developer

Thanks! I tried to make the comedic bits a nice, silly surprise. Thanks for playing

An innovative twist on Minesweeper.  This feels really fresh to me — honestly it’s the first time I’ve seen it done like this, though I’m sure someone has tried it before. The core idea is pretty interesting, but I’ve run into some weird bugs while playing. For example, it shows I’ve Lost, yet the game doesn’t actually end, and pressing any keys does nothing. Stuff like that happens. Overall I think it’s quite fun, It would work better if you switched up the art style and presentation in future updates. I think it deserves a more casual art style or something.

Hey there! I appreciate your play and vote. I definitely have plans to retool it post-jam. I fixed a good number of bugs during development but I didn't manage to get them all, it seems. I'm curious if you remember the conditions under which you lost and the game did nothing. On the playtest I did before uploading losing seemed to work fine. I must have missed something.

And yes, while I continue to develop it, I will definitely be on the hunt for a real pixel artist that can do a more casual art style. Your feedback makes so much sense to me!

Thanks again!

I found what you mean. Interesting. Thanks for highlighting the bug!
