Hey! With FQ9 ending soon, I wanted to let you know that I won't be able to cover your game until after the event. If you're okay with waiting, just keep the game on the event and I'll be getting around to it over the next couple of months or so. :)
You scared me, I am watching your stream (LoadingTerzom) and tought that I had missed it. No worries, I got some good feedback and things to work on, so hopefully I got some more progress until you reach it.
Don't burn yourself out!
Interesting game! It took a little getting used to the gameplay and the UI, but still nice! Some additional comments:
The VOD for the review is linked below and will be available for 60 days from the day of broadcast:

Thank you very much for you comment!
I had seen the VOD before and some of the suggestions I've already implemented but not yet uploaded a new version, waiting for some background music.
The idea is that there will be way more "blueprints" so that each session would be different, but maybe endgame could possible be the same, something I've to figure out along the way.
no ai used, no music atm. Not a bad game, I love the handicaps given to the player. Definitely would like to see what buffs for the player would look like. I like that you can purchase puzzle pieces, but it would definitely be beneficial to be able to purchase more than just two towards the later stages. Wish there was more story or bigger screen. I like that unlike Tetris, I can pick where to place the blocks. Definitely a game I could see being played on mobile. Here is my VOD from the first game play, however, I have since gone back and played it and it definitely is something I find enjoyable but I did notice that in my second play off stream the helpful cards (not the extra pieces) that could be purchased were not there anymore.
Thank you very much for your comments!
Yes I've made some changes since you made the VOD, thoes things had no programmed functions so removed them to avoid confusion.
To be able to purchase more stuff is on the list togheter with more content and such. Focusing to polish stuff now so I can make a demo and then focus on content and expansion.
I am excited for the updates. Do not hesitate to let me know when the changes are complete and I will come back to it for another review!
This has to be the coolest twist on a Tetris-style game I've seen. Rather than falling blocks, it is deceptively simple: just place the blocks.
But then come the challenges, and I had an absolute ball trying different effects, seeing how they interact, and trying to figure out combos that would work well together. It took me a bit to realize that buying blocks basically added to my "deck" like a deck builder.
I wasn't quite sure what caused a building to fail a contract, so some instruction on that would be helpful, since the contracts themselves didn't seem to have any visible requirements on the screen.
I'm curious to see how the game plays out at length: are there multiple levels/areas that bring new unique elements? New sizes/styles of blocks? And am I correct in thinking that if you fail a contract, it resets you to the start versus just repeating that level? Depending on how the overall levels are set up, that could be brutally punishing unless you keep your new blocks.
The only real bug/issue I noticed was that the priority card is misspelled.

P.S. I see the game tagged as a Mystery/Adventure, but that doesn't seem correct at all for the style of game.
Thank you very much for your words and loved the VOD!
I need to rework the contract a little to maybe give the player options and right from the start show then the requriements. As it's now, if you don't buy pieces, you will lose evernually since the building are getting bigger and you would need more pieces. Some people didn't feel they needed to buy pieces so that migth change the behaviour (or it becomes a strategy thing to only build small buildings).
Right now I am not sure how the end game should look like, there will be more "blueprints" and othet items to buy in the store and also "special events" that could be that you would only have one type of shape and such. I love roguelike like Balatro and similar where you would restart from scratch and then try another combinations. But time and progress will tell if that is going to stick, thinking atleast have a "bribe inspector" to be able to continue if you had enough money.
But please let me know if you had any ideas of end game.
Not sure about the tagging, think it was lack of options?
What a cool game! I love the way it progressed, and the way all of the little challenge stacked onto each other. Just a fun concept that builds upon itself in a cool way, kind of like a building being constructed... How beautiful!
I'd be super curious to see how you expand this game. It's really cool how it is now, but I imagine in a longer game it would be hard to keep stacking these effects upon each other. In my head, I'm imagining after a set of puzzles, you'd move to a new area, and the challenges would all reset. Maybe you'd get a NEW set of challenges that would stack in each area? Just kind of thinking out loud, I'm sure you have it figured out!
I think I mentioned this on stream, but I feel like this is the kind of game that would fit SO PERFECTLY on coolmathgames.com. Not sure if you've heard of it, but it's an ICONIC game website with logic and skill games that everyone would go CRAZY for in elementary school computer lab. Just out of curiosity, I was googling it, and it looks like coolmathgames has a page where you can submit your HTML5 games, and if they like it, they'll buy a non-exclusive license to host it on their site. I don't, like, *work* for coolmath games or anything, and I have no stake in this battle, but I feel like even this alpha would fit so well on their website. Might be worth looking into if you're interested :P Get that bread!
I played the game here on stream around 41:26. Also BIG SHOUT OUT to HYPNOTOAD WOOOT!
Super thanks for the feedback, I managed to find you clip and left a comment.
Really interesting idea about a new area, I dont fully have an idea about the endgame or how to progress. I do have some "speical event" and more challanges stuff. Someone mention that it would be cool to have different types of block that do stuff with others, so yeah, lots of things to figure out and at the same time trying to keep the scope not too big!
Yeah I had coolmathgames on my list for potensial places to upload the Demo on once that is done, I am/was more of a newgrounds person however. ;)
Nice game. I like it. But why have I lost my run?
Either you did not buy any pieces and lost due to not having enough. This is a flaw that I need to fix somehow, maybe to be able to pick a contract and see the conditions and in that view mention minimum requirmenet of pieces. But I don't want people to then just pick the smallest building.
Or too many holes.
Hi, first thought when I saw your game 'Oh Tetris? With construction concept??' and of course, I had to play it.
Here's my VOD on Youtube:
I enjoyed the different modes (Contracts) that you created. A little confusing on using the Hold/Discard blocks but not a hard learning curve.
Personally, I would love if there is a Leaderboard in future builds, either Personal Top or Global, especially for the Achiever-type players.
Overall, love the concept, fun game and there is potential to explore more levels.
Thank you very much for your comments!
Hi Terzom! This was a fun little game and I definitely enjoyed my time with it.
I agree with Latinastrike about having a little bit more tutorialization. I didn't work out that you could rotate pieces until the modifier about every 3rd piece being unable to be rotated popped up a couple of rounds in and wasn't ever completely sure on what constituted a win for a couple of quick examples.
Would be great to have an option to expand out the items that you can purchase between rounds, or maybe even rerolling the selection of an item once the player purchases it?
I really like the addition of the different negative modifiers to each round, the have to place pieces adjacent made for a really interesting challenge. But a couple of them (the obscure and the jackhammer guy explicitly) felt like they really didn't hinder the round that much and felt like an auto pick just because you didn't have to do much to play around them.
Looking forward to see where you take it in the future!
Hi Ella,
Super thanks for your comments! I realise that people tend to forget what they have picked and gets suppriced when "why can't I rotate this piece?" or "why can't I place it over there" when they have chain activated. Need to add some kind of highligth/reminder when you try too many times.
It also seem that people completly don't use "Hold" and just discard, so as you say, more tutorial. :)

Game Feedback
Overall Thoughts
Overall, I thought Tegel Fall was a good game, and I really enjoyed the retro art style. The gameplay is very similar to classic games like Tetris, I really liked the construction theme. I thought that was a very creative way to take a familiar concept and make it feel different.
The construction and inspection mechanics actually gave me another reason to keep playing. You want to keep passing inspection and see how far you can get, which I thought was a really cool way to keep the player engaged.
I also really liked how each level ends with the inspection. I thought that was a creative way to finish each level instead of simply moving on to the next one.
The budget idea was another thing I thought was really great because it allows you to buy more pieces and I feel like that was a unique addition.
Cons / Suggestions
1. Music
The first thing that stood out to me was the lack of music.
I’m not sure if there is a specific reason why the game doesn’t currently have music, but personally, I don’t enjoy playing games without music. I checked the options menu to see if there was a way to turn music on, but unfortunately, I couldn’t find one.
Because I was streaming the game, I ended up playing background music during my stream. That music is not included in the VOD for a couple of reasons, so you’ll be able to experience the game as it currently is when watching the VOD.
Personally, I think adding music that fits the retro/construction theme would make the game feel more complete and add more personality to the experience.
2. Tutorial / More Detailed Instructions
I also think a short tutorial or instructions page would be helpful for first-time players.
I did notice that there are tips shown between screens, which I appreciated. However, when I encountered the gray boxes, I wasn’t immediately sure what they meant or what I was supposed to do with them.
I eventually figured out that those pieces cannot be flipped, but having a short tutorial at the beginning explaining the basic mechanics would make the game easier to understand for new players.
Final Thoughts
Overall, I enjoyed the game.
The inspection system, budget mechanic, and construction theme all work together to give you a reason to keep playing. But again my biggest recommendations would be adding music and possibly a short tutorial for new players. I think those additions would give the game a little more polish and make the experience even better. Keep up the good work.

Thank you very much for the feedback! Watched the VOD and loved the why you streamed!
Indeed music is missing, have not found anything "low-key chiptune" that would fit. Budget is tight but I'll eventually find something.
As you say, migth need to add more tutorial, idea is that you need to cover the priority pieces and also the bombs when they come, but you (and others) just simply ignored them and that is one reason why the game ends.
Again, very much thank you, been very valuable insights.
Love this twist on Teris and rouge-lite genre, what a combo, very satisfying and addictive. Well done.
This was truly amazing! Super thanks for showing me this and playing my game, very glad that you daughter also liked it. PAAAACMAAAAN!
