Good one!!! Really liked the gameplay. Art feels amazing too, the chill music and the SFX, a really good combo, nice job, you did amazing!!
Thank you so much!
nice game! it is hard to progress on it because when get darkness i explode a lot lol but its fun and the graphics are nice
Haha thank you!
I hope you used your Sonar pings to navigate easier?
I think this is really charming! I am however awful and haven't been able to progress much, because I can only find treasure worth 5g or I explode trying to explore too much. Still had fun with it though!
Thank you!
Sadly it's my first jam, so I made the game playable for a longer time than just a few minutes. I should have shown everything right at the start. (If you play for around 30-60 minutes, you will get to this point as well)
Next time I'll be smarter :D
Cool art direction and interesting gameplay. The WASD controls weren't working for me but the arrow keys were fine.
Thank you for your feedback! Yes, I realized it too late. The player movement uses an old mapping from the early stages of development – only the arrow keys work for movement, but the UI can use WASD too (I know, that makes no sense for now :D). I have updated the control instructions...
Cool game quite reminiscent of porgy from UFO50 :)
Playing it felt quite fine, the adaptative music makes it quite immersive!
I felt I wasn't really progressing quickly, and there wasn't much treasure to find in the sea, which makes it hard to keep playing on the first few cycles. The everchanging cavern makes for nice scenarios though!
It looks really nice and feels very retro, the palette is lovely!
Thanks for your feedback!
You are right, the start feels really slow. There is not even much atmosphere there. Compared to other games I've seen for this jam, I should have done a smaller scope (fast game). Instead of just spawn enemies and mines later when you get deeper, I should have introduced them directly. I will take that experience with me for the next games! Thanks for playing and writing your feedback, it means a lot to me!
