Wowwwww!!! Short and sweet! I loved the length of it and how well this proves the concept!! Could see this being a full gameboy style metroidvania. Such a unique mechanic! Was super fun and satisfying!

Art was amazing, music and sound was perfect, gameplay was well balanced and responsive. My favorite little detail was the stinger that plays when you pick up the totems :D

i think this is the most gameboy-y game i have played so far in the jam! lovely lovely artwork, music and sound, and the platforming feels great. can see a lot of effort went into this, big ghostie thumbs up 👍

Extremely well polished and allrounded game. Love the spin on the secondary theme and the old style quirckiness/humor of games like Wario etc.

I’ve stumbled upon a bug in the chamber of the second mimic: cannot go back because of the locked door nor jump on the one-way platform. Idk if I’m tho only one tho.

Good job, loved it!

Got softlocked in the second mimic chest part then I tried again from start and got all 5 totems in 6 attempts. Amazing game!

Ok this is hands down the most polished entry I've played so far, in terms of graphics and platforming movement. Sound effects and music are really juicy too. Top marks on both for sure!

Possibly my favorite aspect is how every level/room efficiently introduces a new mechanic or ability without a single word, whereas most games would write walls of dialog to teach the player that.

That being said, having cool effects and lighting shaders kind of takes away a little bit of Gameboy Soul. Not that it's a bad thing!

Anyways, awesome work and congrats on a very solid entry!

Very fun game. Simple but super responsive and pretty. The pixel art and music are neat!

Completed with 5/5 totems, really really fun.

Good game, congrats!

Very fun! I love the artstyle

Absolutely awesome, the art was superb, the gameplay was very very fun and also alligned to the theme, and obviously the music too. A very very well made game where i cant point out any issues, even the itchio page was sick as hell

Loved it! Great music! Graphics give a nostalgic vibe! The Gameboy soul is alive and well!
Just a small bug with the second mimic where it would open the door of the previous room instead of this room and you have to do it several times, I think it works based on which door you are closer to.

Genuinely impressive, well done! The music SLAPS!

Wonderful! A perfect game boy experience. Fantastic art and music, clever puzzles, and lovely character design. I wish it was a full game!

Super game!  I couldn't get past the second mimic as the platform didn't have any collision, unless I'm just bad (Possible)

I really liked this.  Great interpretation of the theme, and a very fun game.  The puzzles felt very  rewarding.

yep, that one's on me. turns out if you restart in that room you get softlocked. i lost power on the final day, so i didn't end up having any time to test the game

thank you though!

The controls felt really good and the gameplay was very fun I liked the sprite of Midas doing a thumbs up and fading away.
