Fun and a nice, simple concept. Really just needs more feedback to the player (and to reset the stack counter when you die)
Good job!
Took me a little bit, but i figured out how to play this and it seems fun. It would be cool if there was a way to throw objects up and down for convenience but i can understand if you didn't have enough time. Also shouldn't the max number of items reset after a game over or am i tweaking?
Pretty fun once I got the hang of it. Got the 9-item-stack wave before getting finally killed by all the enemies. I think adding an effect of some sort when the player or the enemies took damage would be a simple improvement that would go a long way to improving game feel.
Fun companion & nice controls. The bit about throwing vs stacking seems like an overcomplication. It needs more gameplay feedback to distinguish the two types and defeating the enemies is challenging enough without it. Still, really promising first GWJ entry and I hope we see more!
A little confusing a first, but fun once I figured it out. The character only had a black bar above their head, if that was a health bar it glitched for me.
It was a bit difficult to get, I think a screen with some directions at the beginning wouldn't go amiss for next one, but I loved the pixel art and the companion, I enjoyed playing it it had a retro vibe :D
was fun to play, but its impossible to beat most of the time, it took me a few attempts to understand the game, and once I did I did not win even tho I stacked every item that fell, I got 7/11, adding some more time would really help, but it had its charm and I enjoyed it!
