How does your game meet GBJam's theme
In this game, “old” is not just an aesthetic or a sign of weakness. As you age and become more damaged, you also become rarer, more powerful, and more valuable — turning “gold” into a measure of increasing worth rather than literal gold.

The more you wear down, the stronger and more valuable you become, but also the closer you get to breaking.

Interesting concept!

My only nitpick would be that it is not immediately apparent that there is a fourth possible action (“defend”), maybe a small arrow pointing down to show that you can scroll would solve that.

Other than that, this is a cool entry :)

The durability system is really cool. It reminded me of a mechanic from Octopath Traveler. Very cool concept!

This system you've designed is really innovative. It isn't exactly a turn-based RPG in the conventional sense, it's more of a puzzle game. But it feels a lot like a RPG, given you have to actively manage the action economy and either guard or go for broke as needed, depending on the enemy.

Nice concept and pretty creative read of the theme. I think it would have been improved by your character becoming older with hp as well as getting bloodied but I really like what you got there. Especially how your page get the player expecting an rpg just to hit them with a puzzle game instead.
