How does your game meet GBJam's theme
The player can buy stuff with selling their gold nuggets?.The longer the gold nuggets are in the inventory the more they are worth. Thus old means gold more!

That was really fun, but when you sell everything in your inventory the game is stuck there forever.
Very fun game. As a dungeon crawler fan I loved the gameplay. I detest backpack/inventory management, it was always my least favorite thing in Diablo I & II. But the ability to reorient things made the management into a puzzle minigame of its own and that was good.
Graphics are fantastic, I absolutely love the art. Extremely well done with a very unique style.
Soundtrack is good, music sets a nice mood and the sound fits.
Gameboy Soul is here, I could see a game playing like this on an old GB.
Quirkiness is here, the game is certainly unique!
Secondary theme interpretation: There's gold, it is old. Check and check!
As someone who's also made an inventory battler (for a previous jam) I appreciate seeing one in a gameboy jam for sure. I think it would've been nice to have proximity buffs/effects, though I'm not sure HOW you'd explain them to the player, unless you had a "press b for more" or something on an item? Well done though! It was neat watching gold go up in value and having to decide on when to sell vs hold it.
The doubling of nuggets seems like a dangerous gambit for game balance. I got 128 money off one because I just kept selling the other ones I earned. Still got mauled by the dragon, but that may have just been me misjudging the sudden difficulty spike. I could afford the buster sword, but didn't think I'd need it with what I'd faced before then, and then got shredded by an angry dragon (former) parent.
The artwork is stellar. I could have *sworn* it didn't follow the 160x144 requirement, but I checked some screenshots, and it did. Deceptively detailed. Well done.
Soundscaping largely faded into the background for me, they were there for sure, but I didn't really pay them heed either.
Certainly of of the top games in the jam. Its got all the components of the game and polish to boot.
palette and art was good .so GL
Great game, Art is awesome. I see great potential in this game :)
Exellent game, loved everything and loved the backpack managment (even if sometimes i coul'nt select the object i wanted to move :) ) Nice idea about the incremental nugget value.
I beat the dragon!
Really fun loop, the backpack juggling got me hooked fast. Nuggets getting worth more the longer you hold them is such a smart twist on the theme, I kept getting greedy lol. Nice one!
I've got the nuggets!
You nailed the core mechanics. Very fun game.
Of course there's the bug that kinda makes the game turns into a roguelike... haha, but this is a small issue. I really liked this entry.
First of all, the art on this game is gorgeous. Love the buttery yellow and orange palette!
Secondly, the gameplay is really fun and the "old means more gold" mechanic is a clever take on the theme. 5 stars on secondary theme for sure.
Finally, the worst thing about this game is that there are not enough levels! NEED MOAR NUGGETS! I was saving one to hopefully reach 1024 ha!
Anyways, great game and one of my favorite entries in the jam. Keep it up!
Thanks for playing and happy you liked every aspect of it.
If I had more time I would have surely made more levels with more enemies and items.
Excellent game! Clever interpretation of the theme!
Thanks, I wanted to go a unique way of the theme.
Very fun little game. (I lost because I did not heed the warning on your page.)
Better read next time ;). Thanks for playing.
Loved this so much! It was extremely fun, I played it twice lol. I didn't realize at first that the gold was increasing from sitting in your backpack, but I loved that mechanic. Great art, great music, great gameplay. Amazing job! :3
Tanks for playing, glad to hear it becoming addicting to play.
Really digging the gameplay!
I was not expecting the dragon encounter - it totally caught me off guard - I got crushed! XD
Definitely coming back and trying to get deeper!
Is it possible to stack nuggets on top of each other? (I think I was adding 2 nuggets and they were showing as shadows? Maybe I just wasn't placing them down. :P)
Great work on the game! :D
Yea the dragon is the final boss.
there's a glitch that if you restart you still get the previous money xD.
Also it's not possible to place multiple nuggets on eachother the shadow is sometimes bit buggy.
I don't normally like turn-based battle games, but this one was really really good! I liked the backpack system and the take you guys had on the theme, with gold nuggets in your inventory becoming more valuable.
Glad I made you rethink on liking turn-based games.
Thanks for playing!
really unique style, i love it! the enemies are all so quirky and fun. i enjoyed the inventory management a lot. it's a fun experience!
Thanks for playing!! Glad you liked all my enemies it was fun creating them!
As someone who is the fan of dungeon crawler and backpack based auto battlers it feels like this game was aimed at me with a sniper scope. Altough the game falls onto the easier side, I think that is the better mistake to do than making it too hard.
The game has a unique style which is easily distinguishable from anything else if you have seen it shared around and all the art has a great cohesion.
SFX and mx are neat, music didn’t really bother me and the effects were neat.
Cool idea, executed basically flawless. Awesome job!
Cool game! I love how you actually incorporated the theme into the gameplay itself, I definitely got greedy a couple of times and paid the price haha. Great work!
I wanted to be a bit unique with the gold idea. Don't be too greedy, but happy you liked the game!
great game definatly deserves like 4 stars atleast
Thanks for playing and giving feedback. It really helped out to polish the games balance and controls!
i enjoy the game loop
