Hi, I have a few more bugs to report.

  1. The "gamepad buttons" button that shows the control layout cannot be selected with the gamepad.
  2. With gamepad controls, after giving Herman a fish, the OK button ignores gamepad input.
  3. With gamepad controls, if you select "give fish" and then click Back, and then select "give fish" again, the popup box is invisible.
  4. In the mine, I had a quicksave in the lever room, and I later reloaded that save during combat (with the gargoyle in the next room).  All of the levers and the mine cart were now non-interactive, and this continued even after restarting the game.  I had to load an earlier save to fix it.  Unfortunately I lost this save because it was a quicksave and I didn't make an immediate copy of it.
  5. When talking to someone in a house, if you cancel out of the dialogue while it is actively scrolling and then talk to them again, the dialogue options don't respond to gamepad input.
  6. The bottom popup text cuts off if it is too long (e.g. the +2 projection mutonium refinery does this).
  7. I can't scroll the party effects window with the gamepad.
  8. The mutonium refinery that vaporizes the user behaves strangely.  It affects two characters and it can either actually vaporize or just kill, depending on which character uses it.
  9. Items with multiple affixes (usually 3+) can overflow the display panel.
  10. This may not be a bug, but what triggers the statue in the refinery to stop responding?  I got it wrong once, and when I came back later, it didn't respond, but on a different save, I was able to try the riddle multiple times.

Hey thanks for these. As you can tell, gamepad controls had the least testing time so I guess there were still a fair amount of bugs I didn't find.

I'll take a look at all that when I can, thank you again for the list. The minecart levers in particular seems like a worrying issue

Okay, I've finally gotten around to all of this.

1-3 and 5-7 have been fixed.

9 I had previously fixed, and no matter how long of an item name I generate the name does seem to be scaling correctly, so I can't quite see the overflow you mention in the name. However, if you were referring to the stats overflowing (which I still can't see, but can imagine it may be possible) I've now added a scale box for the stats so that shouldn't happen anymore.

4: I cannot for the life of me replicate this issue. No matter what, those levers should be interactable, the only possible time they aren't is during the ~1 second when they are being moved in which the "busy" bool is active, and is immediately deactivated afterwards. I'm unsure what happened in your save, but it's not something I can figure out on my end. It's possible it got corrupted and the entire interaction box was gone?

8: Fixed. The issue here was the character was being damaged and THEN being vaporized, which was unnecessarily redundant and wound up switching to the next character if the damage was enough to kill the activating character. Silly mistake by me.

10: I can't replicate this one either, but I've found a few issues in the code that I've cleaned up which I guess could cause something like this? The only way the statue is supposed to stop responding is if you tick the solved bool as true, which can only happen if you correctly solve the riddle. However, in the old code you could also get a stopped response if the "used" bool was true, even though the "used" bool should not have been touched at all during use. So what I did was just get rid of the "used" bool gate entirely, as it is rather pointless for this function. Hopefully that prevents anything like this from happening.

I'll have the new version up in a bit, thanks again for all these reports!

Thanks!  Regarding #9, I was referring to the box with special property descriptions like "increases chance to be burned by enemies."  I think I have only seen this happen once, which was on an item with three properties, but I will take a screenshot if I see it again.

Sorry about #4.  It sounds like I hit some very fringe case, so it's probably fine, but I'll try to reproduce it again.  If I do, I'll be sure to keep the save file this time.

If I still can't interact with the statue after the fix, I can provide that save file as well.

I see what you mean about #9 now. Looks like my scale box fix didn't take, I'll try a few other things.

Right, and it affects both the inventory and shop screens.  Reaper's Herald is another good example:

Yep, thanks for that. I figured out how to scale the text correctly for all of those panels, the fix should be up shortly.
