Fun game! I love the art and the different vibes of all the little characters you walk by. I honestly don't have much feedback, it was pretty great overall for me and I enjoyed playing it. Great work!

Gonna start off this comment by mentioning this: Drilly is so damn cute. Love the guy.

With that out of the way, let's talk about the rest of the game.

Gameplay wise, digging feels pretty good, but I sometimes had to wiggle into a good position before going back to mining because of the dig radius being small early game. Digging direction also feels rather limited, and it being downwards by default confused me a few times.

Graphics and animations are great! Definitely a lot of care put into it. Explosion effects and all.

Love how big some of the treasures are, like that old van and that Greek statue from dirt and stone layer respectively. Speaking of layers, the music and color palette changing accordingly to your current layer is such a nice touch!

A great entry! Just short enough to complete within 1 to 2 hours too.

Its was a good time digging through a world full of quirky characters full of personality and pretty fun dialogue. The visuals are so sweet, too, with great sprite work and designs of the characters and treasures to add to the charm, and feel right at home on Game Boy (especially when the palette changes upon digging deeper).

The digging is simple but lets you dig anywhere you want, but also be careful.  The game is slow to start, but it then gets satisfying to upgrade your digging and stat abilities and the game really gets fun when you get the Drill Booster. Maybe backtracking could have been reduced and it was a bit tedious to dig everywhere to find the remaining treasures, so a treasure detector would've been welcome.

Overall, though, you guys did a fantastic job!

Overall, it was very good. Having a team really makes a difference. I had a lot of fun. Great work by the team.

I love digging! This was really cool, the digging controls were really satisfying, the gfx/audio are great, and it was really cool that the palettes would in-between fade to indicate different sub-levels.

I ended up with 8 treasures at area 2, I couldn't find the last 2 needed for the dig upgrade even after tearing the place apart. I think maybe some additional help/hinting for Skill Issue cases would go a long way. :)

Great work with the fun character movement. Maybe a bit long, but the drilling was satisfying. I had a laugh at digging up the bus as treasure XD

The only thing I miss here is a treasure detector. The game is so good in all aspects. really well done!

"It's so nice to have a form of digging that feels like attacking the earth itself!"

This entry has been polished to a mirror shine! 💚 It's been a long time since I've had this much fun digging around for stuff. The characters are quite charming, the music is driving and perilous, and the sounds are perfectly crunchy.

One small nitpick: the audio is mixed a tiny bit loud. While it stays within reason near the beginning, it gets a bit too loud once all upgrades are in play; the audio consistently peaks above +0.0 dB with everything going on at once.

All-in-all, fantastic! Great work!

Bit of a slow start but I do like how the progression in the game is handled, it was exciting to be able to dig deeper and find more things waiting in the dirt and stone. Great job this was a fun experience!

There was one thing I wanted the most was the Treasure Detector device.

Very nice game, the TNT really added good challenges, good upgrades, really fluid.

While the game is fun and all, I somehow could only get 4 treasures in one run, and I could not get the fifth one...

this game is really polished. my only feedback would be to make it a bit easier to find treasure, maybe by adding some indicator you are nearby one, and earlier in the game so that upgrades are easier/faster to get. otherwise, great job on the smooth and fun mechanics, music, npcs, and environment! loved when the palette changed when going deeper underground along with the music as well!

wow! i cannot say enough how FUN this is to play! the gameplay feels so fluid, I loved how you teased each biome before you could get to it, it really made me want to keep playing and unlocking more. Music themes were on point, and the SFX felt wonderful and perfectly satisfying. drill dash i <3 u

This game was so much fun! The digging felt so juicy especially when I got the drill dash. I can't believe you were able to make something so polished in such a short amount of time, complete with 3 unique biomes and themes too. The shop keeper's music was so cute too, the whole thing just felt very cohesive. Really impressive, awesome job!

What a great game!  The digging was really fluid and felt great, yet each of the upgrades made it better.  My only gripe is that I missed some treasure under some tiny rock somewhere and spent an inordinate amount of time searching for it.  Some kind of radar, or not requiring 100% of the treasures to unblock the next area, or something would have made that much more pleasant.  I managed to get them all in the end though, and the fun ramped back up after a couple upgrades.  The art was great, so much variety and motion!

The cover art was perfect and then the splash screen was perfect and then the title screen was perfect and then the whole game was perfect I don't even know how you had the time do do all of this its so cool and polished the art and music are amazing really really well presented and appealing no idea how the rocks shape so well to digging, also the general world and the designs of the characters and buildings were really cohesive and interesting and creative, reminded me of power sockets. The main gameplay is really really well done too, there's so much extra stuff there that the main mechanic of digging never gets old its really great, I especially like how the dash works, everything is a perfect balance of being modern and intuitive while still evoking the feeling of playing a GB game. PERFECT PERFECT PERFECT PERFECT

Love love love! The gameplay was fun especially as you upgraded and could dig in better ways. I absolutely love the palette swap and music change between the three levels! The characters were so cute and the art for the treasures (along with basically everything in this game) is phenomenal! You even made sure that the town area dirt resets if the player dug it all out (which I totally did)! The only recommendation I would have is  to add a mini map to see what areas you've dug out already and which you are missing. Overall, super amazing game! 5 stars all around!

A real nice experience. It had really quirky characters.

I enjoy digging games so I enjoyed this one alot. The art feels so amazing and the dittering effect so clean. The game is very well balanced and polished, well done!

Everything was pretty awesome, some of the smaller treasures were pretty annoying but that was overall fine. The art, music, and sound design was nice and meshed well with each other. The TNT was annoying sometimes, it feels like theres not enough time to dodge if you hit it by accident. If it took a fraction of a second longer it would be fine. Aside from that its awesome

The Graphics and music are awesome and really well done. The only real issue I had was digging, my suggestion would be maybe some sort of mechanic where you can charge up the dig and blast away at a bunch at a time, at some sort of cost/risk.
Either way, great entry!
