How does your game meet GBJam's theme
For me, the "Old Gold" theme evokes both the passage of time—suggested by "Old"—and the precious, solid material of "Gold." I therefore chose a rather abstract concept: amber. Amber is unique in that it is a fossilized material that endures through the ages, preserving precious information within itself. The connection to *Amber Trap* lies precisely in the fact that pure, precious mana is encased within a piece of cut amber.

This game might be fun, I think you should assign the keys for the jump to K, M, and/or X keys instead of using the Up Arrow Key while having the Shoot for Z, N, or J Keys. Also, I tried this game with the controller, it only seemed to interact the intro screen, but it's not active in main menu and the game when I pressing buttons on my Xbox Controller.

Simple but fun gameplay loop! I liked how it was easy to understand but still challenging. The animations really took it to the next level for me, they were SO GOOD!
The platforming feels very smooth. Great job! The one criticism I'd have is that with all the off grid particle effects it doesn't feel as much like a gameboy game. I'd appreciate if you'd give our team a rating as well.

Had a good time playing it. The pixel art and sfx are well made, really liked it.

Nice snappy controls, would be better with some coyote time and a slight jump available after the wall climb.

interesting interpretation of the secondary theme. The overall concept is very cool and the game plays very well, i enjoy the walljumping and the hidden platforms. the game also looks really nice and the soundtrack is very atmospheric.
