Hi everyone — Skittercore Studio has released The Last Receipt, a free/pay-what-you-want occult pawn shop game on itch.io.

You work behind the counter of a strange pawn shop where every item has a story, and some of those stories are dangerous. Inspect objects, compare receipts and testimony, ask limited questions, then decide whether each item should be bought, refused, or quarantined.

Play it here: https://skittercorestudio.itch.io/the-last-receipt

You can also play the full browser version here: https://skittercore.studio/the-last-receipt/

The latest build includes:

  • Seven playable shifts
  • Thirty-five customers
  • Cursed objects and suspicious stories
  • Persistent consequences
  • Multiple endings
  • Windows and Linux downloads
  • Scalable text, reduced motion, volume, fullscreen, and resolution options
  • Mouse, keyboard, and controller-friendly controls

It is free to play. If you enjoy it and want to support Skittercore Studio, the suggested pay-what-you-want price is £5.99, but there is no pressure — plays, comments, bug reports, and feedback are massively appreciated.

Thank you to anyone who checks it out.

Please add an image or video to your post. Thanks.

You have the-last-receipt-html5.zip. You can easily make it a web game and get more players.

Hi CoderGenius72
Thank you for that i totally missed that. i have added a web version on my website now :3

I don't see it. Also the link includes an extra "The" at the end and does not work.

Hi CoderGenius72 — thanks for spotting that. You were right, the link had accidentally picked up an extra “The” at the end earlier. I’ve fixed the post now. The full browser version is here: https://skittercore.studio/the-last-receipt/ And the itch page/download is still here: https://skittercorestudio.itch.io/the-last-receipt Thanks again for pointing it out.
