Theme Interpretation
Lord Godoom is imminently returning, from space, and you forgot to mow his lawn... so he's gonna be pretty upset if you can't finish in time.

Nice entry, not overcomplicated. The audio was realistic haha, and the effects are cool too. Good Job!

Developer

Thanks! I tried to keep it as intuitive as I could.

I mean it's a lawn mowing simulator. I like the butterflies. Good job.

Developer

Thanks!

i like the concept and the idea behind the controls, but to play i waited a long time and inside the game i lagged a bit

Developer(+1)

It may involve the WebGL thing; you get maybe 70%-80% speed on that. It's a demanding program with all of the grass.

I'm happy you enjoyed it though!

Cool game, feels like mowing the lawn indeed!

Thanks!

Perfect for people who don’t have a lawn/garden but want to know the joys of having to maintain one.

If you do ever expand it, could maybe add a 2d hud of the lawn already mown? That way people can entertain themselves by making lawn art.

Nice mechanics and use of the SFX.

Thanks!

I actually am a step ahead of you on that, but I need to get the game fully market-ready before I do this. I figured we could have missions which are crude drawings to make in the yard, and the player could try and draw the picture handed to them... then I would compare the two using OCR algorithms to see how well they did!

But first, I need to get the thing out there.

It's very entertaining and enthralling after a while

Sometimes, a guy just has to mow something.

It took us a long time to load the game after we hit Start, just a heads up for other people playing.

Developer

Unfortunately it's a pretty bulky game; but, once loaded, it should run fine. We're looking at... a 30 ½ MB zip.

You nailed steering with the mouse. The butterflies’ flocking behavior was cool. Overall a satisying game could use just a few surprises or easter eggs beyond the butterflies for more excitement–unless I missed them; that’s possible.

Oh, I know; I've got plans for more, but the jam is a wrap. It may become a mobile game.

I'm glad you had fun!

Scratches an itch I never knew I had. Makes a great mobile game as is, but with a shop full of upgrades and progressively bigger lawns, I would be endlessly entertained.

Awesome.
