Text visual with parrot was very good. I liked the collecting coins to pass the palm tree mechanic. Although I don't like it pausing Pete every time the text pops up. but overall good game.

Like others I really liked the parrot! It would have been nice if he didn't stop you for each rhyme after the first time seeing it. Despite there being seemingly no incentive to grab the coins I was still drawn into lots of stupid deaths trying to grab every one. Well Done!

I had skill issue and died many times lol.
The sprites are nice and I like the ocean wave sounds. It was fun to try to get every coin, even if it didn't really seem to serve a purpose. Some additional mechanics would go a long way, but this is a nice start!

The art is very cute, simple but you can tell a lot of care went into the simplicity of the sprites. The way the ghost move their heads to follow Pete is very cute. The rhymes from the parrot was giving very fun storybook energy. I am not very good at platformers and appreciated the simple controls.

Fun game, would be nice to have checkpoints or more health so it’s a bit less punishing, but cute graphics and coin sfx!
The coder felt like the game is very short so he didn't add checkpoints
