The anonymous posts are actually randomly selected from a large set with a lot handwritten by me lol, they're mostly not generated which is why they tend to be a little more unique. Glad you're enjoying the game!

Adding on to this since that way all of my stuff is in one thread; just listing all the things I noticed would be cool with zero regard to how feasible they are (Just because I'm not that intelligent enough to know what would be difficult vs realistic, not because I'm greedy)

1. Group chats; especially class chats.

2. Even if images can't be sent, having like a clickable 'link' that generates a description of an image would be interesting with texting!

(Since with receiving images I assume there has to be a nightmare of conditionals and likely the same image would be sent over and over again)

3. Maybe an bug unless this is intended? I got invited to go somewhere with someone during Spring Break; but each day the calendar auto-cancelled, and the day off they were still texting me that they're 'waiting for me to go outside' but I couldn't actually meet with them since the commands list them as 'out of town'.

4. An editable 'neutral' memory that has a small cap (To avoid bloat) for super important things you don't want it to forget without it being a like/dislike. For example, I had a character who claimed to be friends with a 'Haylee'. Who I found out later was one of the random characters in the scenario! This was fun emergent building; but felt like they forgot this connection.

5. Maybe it does this already? But when there's more than 3 characters in a scene, we hit the 10 message window very fast, maybe having the option for more messages to be sent in case of large cast conversations could help things maintain coherency even if they're a bit longer.

6. Would love for characters to reply to other characters moments/Bunnyboards. Reacting to DMs or messages with specific emojis too could be fun! (Like click and hold on a text message allows us to attach a thumbs up, thumbs down, etc. Which following a message or blank send they could react to?)

7. Some events that aren't holidays maybe should avoid still having class: I had two students ask to go to Mardi Gras, I accepted one, taking the dislike, only for the one I accepted to cancel because they forgot they had class xD

8. While it can be worked around easily, would like if a possible gift option was also a dress. Given the formals and other things, being able to buy and gift something like that I think too is also fun.

9. Maybe a few generic Room BGs to choose from if we don't have a Google AI connection? Or an easier way to upload.

10. Unsure how it could be done; but a fun possibility too would be if you ever miss class, you could ask a friend to 'learn' what was on the day?  Or maybe they can take initiative if you are close enough and they noticed you missed to just reach out.

11. Also could throw wrenches in a plan (But that's narratively interesting imo!) but on a day you don't have class or work someone could just, show up at your door for something.

12. Males, Teachers, etc. Of course would be fun too. But probably a much smaller cast since 12 already is huge. (12 always feels too little when picking; but always by March I'm down to a main cast of 4-5)

13. Being given a gift would be fun too! Probably would just convert to an extra point to avoid making it complicated; but if could be referenced again later too would be nice!

If it wasn't obvious from all of this, I've taken to this kind of AI storytelling a bit too much haha. Hope it doesn't sound like I'm pestering; any or none of these being added wouldn't change how awesome this already is.

Awesome awesome suggestions thank you so much!! Already added a few to the dev plan. A few responses and questions:

1. Moving this up in priority, this is a highly requested feature
2. A photos feature is coming in the next update! Stay tuned
3. I'm very interested in what's going on here, could you describe more or maybe send the save to me? This sounds symptomatic of a deeper issue with spring break.
4. This is a great idea, adding to the dev plan
5. Correct me if I'm wrong but there's no current cap on how many messages the LLM generates each turn, unless you're talking about something else
7. Can you describe this in a bit more detail? This shouldn't be able to happen. Characters ask to hangout on occasions at the start of a slot, and they don't reach out if they're already busy. When did the characters ask you? What was the dislike penalty you received?

1. Yay!
2. Yay!
3. 100%. I know I have a save the day 'of'. I can look to send after work. What's the best way to send?

So far, as I remember: I was leaving Film class; one character (my twin) mentioned she was leaving to Montreal for Spring Break, while her friend mentioned going to Austin. I jokingly made a big deal about my twin leaving to Montreal, and the friend offhandedly offered Austin. Since this character is acquaintance level, I was surprised and decided to roll with it to see what would happen. Right after that the plan was 'cancelled' because she was away for spring break. I remarked on it then she said I was crazy; and doubled down Saturday we were going. Next day it cancelled again, and the character (humorously) blamed the app. Then Saturday the day off (Since no plan was created), I messaged them and they said they were on their way / now here, waiting for me to join them. But no hangout/plan was created. I tried to manually 'go' but the character (Haylee) was listed as an invalid option because they were away or something.

4. That's awesome! Thank you so much! This way you don't have to design characters to be friends/related/enemies/etc, you can keep it dynamic to that playthrough

5.Ah yes, this is in reference to you telling me before (Or as I assumed you said) that what is fed to AI each action is last ten lines + truncated scene summary. I was suggesting if during scenes with multiple characters if it's possible to bump that number up to say 15, since with 3-4 characters 10 lines is just one or two full exchanges before the scene is relying solely on truncated scene data (Which can get messy fast)

7. I think this is happened because, whether intended or not, when you have classes with two students, the narrative tends to get you to 'choose' between the two of them. Because Mardi Gras was that night, one of the students (I forgot which, sorry, I can dig after work to see if I have a save point nearby) asked me to go to Mardi Gras; the other then band wagoned. That is how the 'class intro' started. I picked one. Got a dislike with the other after the morning class ended (99% sure). But then immediately after class, I got a notification that plans were canceled due to the other student having class. When I DM'd them about the class, they DID acknowledge the cancellation, saying they 'forgot they needed to be an adult' or something.
Edit: I'll check after work to see if I have a save here as well? I try to save very often.

P.S One thing that came to me that, I would assume would not be holistically possible with the texting/dming and would be a monumental effort is, if there is a way we could save all messages of a story, and after completion literally 'play it back' as a static VN? Probably a huge text bloat across multiple saves. But a man can dream.

Sending the saves to my mail is best: venus.university.dev@gmail.com

The spring break nonsense seems very unintended and can probably be fixed. I am highly considering allowing characters to ignore their classes/work temporarily for scheduled events (by saying they just came from class/work instead)

Sent!
Also when playing I noticed something with Running in particular (The hobby). Characters seem to love implying you can run early in the morning before class. Only for it to fail since, well the game runs on a two period day cycle. Had a save where Rosalie twice two weeks apart attempted to justify running before a morning class or job as a way to still meet up; only for the class one to cancel automatically, while the second formed a conflict with the job.

Not a huge issue, but curious if anyone else is running into this.
