I love how Return to Dock turns a simple trip back home into something completely unexpected! The idea of having a dock just a few meters away, only for a mischievous cat to send you on a ridiculous detour, fits the jam theme perfectly. The cat hiding around the house, blending into furniture, and messing with your progress gives the game so much personality. And that surprising shift from a peaceful walk into a cat showdown sounds hilarious! 🏡🐾💥
The homemade art, animations, lighting, and sound all help bring this little adventure to life. If I had one suggestion, a few extra hints when the cat gets tricky to find could help players avoid getting stuck while keeping the fun of the search.

I loved it; it was interesting how at first I thought it was just a walking simulator, and then I ended up fighting a cat.
This was really cute and heartwarming! Gave me 'Stray' vibes, but you know if the cat was the villain :D The art is awesome and consistent across the game and all the animations were really well done! Music and SFX went fit really well with the gameplay and felt organic, even the 'boss fight ' music was nice. Gameplay wise, it had some interesting elements, though it felt as more of a narrative kind of an experience. The puzzle elements were really cute, especially when the cat is hiding :D It was a cool take on the theme also. Great work :)
Hahahahaha, what a great game! It really brings the theme to life in such a creative and cute way. I loved how, out of nowhere, you build a spaceship just like in LEGO games. It’s a really good game.

Very cute and fun. Cat-shaped carboard cutouts were unexpected and very amusing. All the other minigames were super fun too. The game felt witty and wholesome ⚞^. .^⚟

This game was an amazing experience! I really enjoyed every aspect of it, from the visual style and sound design to the gameplay mechanics. Everything feels very well connected and creates a really enjoyable atmosphere.
The mechanic where the cat hides and feels like it is actually teasing the player while trying to hide the key is such a creative and fun idea. It gives the game a lot of personality and makes the experience feel unique, because the cat almost feels like a character that is interacting with you instead of just being part of the environment.
The second part of the game was especially impressive. The way the experience evolves and keeps the player engaged really surprised me. Overall, I absolutely loved this game, and I think it is a very creative and memorable project.

Presentation is near perfect! The models are great and the shaders give them an extra layer of cool. The music and sfx are also on point.
What is great about this game is that there's... so much of it! You have three completely different gameplay modes and each is amazingly polished (ok, if I had to nitpick- in the tunel-flying level either the hitboxes are big, or I suck at judging distance). And it's funny! And the roomba can't fit under the furniture you'd really want it to fit (that's realism!).
As for the theme... it's not as front-and-center as in some of the other games. I mean, don't get me wrong it's there- every action you take is towards getting home.
Over all- another great submission. Man, I'd love to play some bigger game from you!
I'd love to work on a bigger game, and I was hoping I could start something this year. But unfortunately I'm really struggling with a lack of inspiration and having bigger priorities in life. But maybe one day 😅

I love cats so this game already had me 😂
This was honestly really fun. The cat hiding around the house works really well and the part where it blends into furniture and changes its fur color was so funny 😭 I wasnt expecting that at all.
The game also feels very polished. The visuals are really nice and the jokes actually made me laugh a few times.
Only thing Id add is some kind of optional hint if youre stuck for too long. I got distracted for a second and missed where the cat went. After that I spent a couple minutes just walking around looking for it 😂 Maybe after some time you could get a small hint about which direction to go.
Art and audio are 4/5 for me but both are REALLY close to 5.

Thank you for the review ! The LCD screen to display hints and it says to keep searching inside the living room so I thought it was enough (and at some point I had to go to sleep 😴 I didn't have the motivation to keep adding new features at 2 am 😅)
