jumping dashing and turing urself into ball works good but its not finished. camera position changing feels bad and its annoying. and ur just stuck when you go the only way there is in this game. soo i think you wanted to did too much in 3 hours so you didnt finish. next time i recommend finishing it and dont care about the time as we did or just took less complex idea
Thank you for the reply. The camera does work in engine, i'm not sure why it doesn't work on the itch page. Thank you for the tips also
The platforming mechanics are really well done! The two abilities complement each other really well. A simple restart keybind would help a lot by letting you replay the game without reloading the page.
Thank you for trying it out and the honest opinion!
For any platformer game, you should really add variable jump height, input buffering, and coyote time at least. It’s okay for this though because it was only made in 3 hours. The camera shake is a very good start to game juice though.
I really liked the camera panning between levels. I didn’t really understand the ball mode and dashing, so the game could have had a tutorial at the beginning. The mechanic itself was great though, and very creative. There was no ending screen, which was disappointing.
Also there was no audio that I could hear unfortunately.
Thank you for the thorough review! THere is coyote timing but it was my first time doing such thing. Thank you for the compliments and I will use these tips in the future for sure!
Oh, sorry I missed that.
Your game was fun but really difficult! I really struggled with the first jump that required the E and Shift at around the same time my hands just got all jumbled on the keyboard! I'd like maybe a smoother camera movement instead of it just snapping to show the next area, made some points a bit difficult! Still really fun though, I liked that the jellymans sprite changed for the movements!
I also recorded my gameplay, your game is shown from 24:19 - 33:32 :)
Thank you! Definitely noting the tips you gave. I'm glad you enjoyed nontheless!!
Good game, although it's very fast.
This game is pretty short but enjoyable all the same. Would have loved a bit of sound and some music.
Thank you! I wanted to add some sounds and stuff but ran out of time LOL
