Played this for a few times and initially (after immediately dying!) was a bit turned off as i had no clue why i was dead! But later i sorta figured out how to proceed. I think the core idea is cool - getting back home drunk after a party fits the theme well.

One suggestion is that for a game that is supposed to be quite difficult, you should not have the players go through the entire intro everytime. Either have a skip intro button or just bypass it completely. The controls are difficult to get used to especially since the cars are coming quite fast initially. For the player to get used to the controls, maybe have less cars coming in in the first minute or so and then ramp up the difficulty? Also would be useful if the player knew exactly what to avoid (i initially thought that i was the driver!)

I like the artstyle - especially the intro backgrounds look really good! Well done on putting this together in just 10 hours, you can definitely polish the gameplay more post the jam, this idea has potential for sure :)

WOOH, THIS IS ONE CHAOTIC WAY TO GET HOME! 😂🍻🚗

I love how the theme is turned into a drunken journey where something as simple as getting home becomes a whole challenge. The dizzy/blur effect, homemade audio, and visual presentation do a great job of selling that “I probably should NOT be driving right now” feeling. 😭 The car-dodging section is especially fun and fits the ridiculous situation perfectly.

For a future version, I think adding a few more short mini-games would make the journey feel even more varied, and a clearer introduction to the mechanics could help players understand what to do faster. But considering this was your first game jam and you only had around 4 days, this is a really impressive result!

GREAT FIRST JAM! 🍻🏠🎮 GOOD LUCK WITH THE JAM! 🔥✨

hey, well the idea looks cool, and has really potencial.

The mehcanic at the begining was confussing, but 2-3 game overs later you understand the idea.

Graphic looks really cool the dizzy effects and sounds are good.

required some more details but is a good entry man, well done.

In the end I did not manage to get home safely!

While the idea was cool, the game needs more work on the technical side. The minigame about dodging cars was a bit buggy- you could see the cars behind the nearest car. That made the game easier, but only a bit. While dodging you were able to judge the incoming cars only by the headlights.

As for the "is this my street" minigame. At first I thought I was to remember the shapes of the houses and was disappointed when I was pretty certain that I got it all right!

On the good side- I liked the blur- it simulated the getting back from a party state pretty accurately!

This is a really cool concept!

There’s a great sense of humor to this, and the art is top notch. I think the clouds, cars, and lighting are visually impressive for 4 days. The audio is also does a great job of supporting everything.

The gameplay is a bit light on the interactivity, but dodging cars is fun. This could easily be expanded into a whole bunch of ‘drunk’ minigames with different challenges and environments.

Work on the grammar and spelling. And develop more minigames for the player to play. There’s something really cool here.

It was a fun game overall. I liked the art style, especially the cars. But I have a few positives and negatives to share

first off, good luck on any future jams. Now for the positives, It fit the jam theme very well. I liked how the cars look and the difficulty of that part of the game. The game was short but fun! With game jams, shortness is good, Short and sweet as my old math teacher would say. I also liked the background music.

Now here are some things I noticed,  one thing I saw was during the beginning text, there was a grammar issue. you used the word "Too" when it would actually be, "To." Another thing is how repetitive it is. The car part was fun the first couple times but having to redo it so many times got kind of boring. I had the same issue in another jam entry I had a few months back.

I really liked your game and would be happy if you check out my game too!

Walking straight in the middle of the street is a bold strategy for a safe return :D

You managed to blend two very different types of challenges for the player, it's a neat idea. Overall a good work!

I think the game is interesting. At first, I was pretty confused by the mechanics of dodging cars, but once I figured it out, it went better on my second try. I’d just add a sound effect when cars squeeze in on you—I think that would be really funny. Other than that, it’s great :D

Congratulations for your first GameJam,

Damn I'll never get home with those cars XD

Nice game for the small amount of time you spent on it!

Love the drunk effect! The minigame was nice and not too difficult, but one or two more would have been nice. But with the amount of time you had, it's already impressive what you could do. I could see you expand on the mini-games and do a WarioWare type of game.

And remember the house of your neighbour is Tough XD

With all of this Good Job!
