I was not aware that pets had their own Day of the Dead holiday. Had an interesting time reading into it. The Day of the Dead is a minor nation holiday where we’re from, too, but way less cheerful tho. 👻
Slow loading times aside, this was an impressive 3D Godot game.
I didn’t know the lighting could look nice on the web as you’re usually constricted to using the “Compatibility” rendering settings which limit fidelity.
Great art style, too. Like a spooky Animal Crossing. Great work overall!

Beautiful game! Very polished. I know it's difficult to make good lighting for itch.io playable in browser in godot but you did it very well.

Really felt cozy and peaceful, and I loved the minigames, taking care of all the spirits and their graves. Rest in Peace.
I liked the overall feel of the game, you definitely nailed the cozy aspect! Also, having a different minigame for each tomb was a nice touch. Great job!
The ending caught me off guard. I loved mini games or mechanics being different for every tomb.

Gameplay wise, I wished character walked slightly faster or the map was slightly smaller at times.
Great idea, and we all love our pets. Interesting gameplay loop to help the story, for me I unfortunately had a little too much stuttering visually and for the audio in the browser, maybe you can offer a downloadable version for some people to play on desktop?

Yes, that’s a good point ! We did consider it but unfortunately we didn’t have enough time to create a downloadable version. With hardware acceleration, the game runs quite well, but yes, we did struggle to optimise it properly within the time limit. But thank you very much for your feedback !
