I got stuck as soon as it got hard. seems like a cute take on a classic I think... i think this is a classic. maybe it isnt. idk. solid stuff but im bad at it.

Great introductory tutorial and good controls. We had the same idea of using root crops for the theme. Other than getting a bit stuck on the final puzzle it felt like it ended too quickly.

Fun and polished, perfectly on theme! Well done!

Thanks for playing!

Very cute fun puzzle game! I made sure to beat every level, that last one was a little challenging but after a few attempts I managed to get it!

Developer

Thanks for sticking with it! Yeah the last level is definitely tricky

A very cute puzzle game. I especially liked the nice SFX! It makes the game very cozy. Great submission!

Developer

Thank you! The SFX are from this cute and cozy ui pack from Case Portman, so many great sounds

Love the game! Very fun short game!

Developer

Thanks for checking it out!

Love the drawings. Fun game. A little short though.

Developer

Thanks! It was a lot of fun drawing all of the veggies in Procreate!

How dare you make something so fun.  I will surly be playing this long after the jam has ended

Developer

Haha appreciate it!

Very nice puzzle game with the right amount of challenge ✨
We would love more levels and a cozy background music.
Nice job ! 🌈

Thank you! Yeah this was a lot of fun to make, I’m thinking of adding in some more content once the jam rating period is over!

Just a super addicting game. I loved how it felt fresh every level, making you think a lot. Nice job!

Developer

Thanks, appreciate it!

Great short puzzle game! All the small animations make it look really polished. The lack of music is the only downside I can think of. Great job!

Developer

Appreciate it! Yeah ran out of time for adding the music unfortunately, next time!

Submitted

This one is great ! Reminds me of resident evil inventory system, but with all of the cozy fall vibes ! Good job, very well done.

Developer

Yeah totally! I really like that kind of item fitting mechanic, Dredge is another great game that has a similar inventory type system!

Love that you included a tuturial, made it easy to follow.  The gradual increase in difficulty was also really well done! I had to use my brain on the last one hehe. Really nice game

Developer

Thanks for playing! Coming back to it after a few days even I had some trouble figuring out the last puzzle again haha

Submitted

I really enjoy it, good job!

Glad you liked it, thanks for playing!

Pleasing artstyle, satisfying sound effects and a nice clean game!

Developer

Thanks!

Really enjoy puzzle games, the last one took me wayy too long to solve haha. I wish there was music or ambience though to increase the coziness. All in all, well done though!

Developer

Awesome, thanks for the feedback!

I actually needed 100% of my brain for this one ! And it was Amazing !

I got a question for you : How did you made the levels feel so good to solve ? I mean you could have just put the vegetables in random ways, and made the level around that... Or did you find a hidden game design rule that make them challenging ?

Anyway GG

Developer

Thanks for playing!

I didn’t use a secret design rule, but I think it helped that I only had time to draw a few veggie sprites so there was a limited number of pieces to work with. I made the puzzles gradually have more pieces and with a bigger board, each one after the tutorial levels has 1 more veggie than the previous one. Then I filled the board with different combinations and blocked the gaps so that it would be an exact match (I tried having a few spaces open at first but it felt too easy, I think because it left a lot of different ways to solve it). Tried several combinations of each and stuck with the one that felt the best!

Well you are a really talented Level Designer because you got the perfect difficulty for every level !

In my game the final level isn't even winnable... XD

Submitted

Really well put together! Looks great, very helpful tutorial and progression for each level, last level geniunely took me some time, nice work.

Developer

Glad you liked it, thanks for playing!

I love the game Cats Organized Neatly, and this is a great little root vegetable rendition. I agree with someone else who said the difficulty curve felt good, and the pieces snapped well and had satisfying noises. Nice entry!

Developer

Thank you! Good catch, Cats Organized Neatly was definitely the main inspiration for this :)

The game is really easy to understand and get playing right away, I liked that.

The assets feel really tied together as a whole (sound effects, UI, veggies). I wish it had more elements to help with the cozy vibes, maybe ambience or music.

Developer

Thanks for the feedback! Unfortunately I left music for last and didn’t have time to get it in. Next time!
