The game does feel like The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakeningish. But I ran into a problem with the shop where you get the items before realizing there is a weapon shop. I think you should have the shop keeper mention to buy the weapon shop before getting the upgrades for the sword. It took all all my money and realized none of the inventory had equipable weapons in my first journey, I had to start over new save file. Also, I ran into a problem with the first dungeon. I did used the key from the room unlocked where it leads to the boss door. I think I had soft locked realizing there is an another locked door at the same first dungeon.

So much GameBoy soul! I love what you've done with this. The final boss was very hard - might have been nice to have some kind of respawn instead of getting all the way back to it! But even this difficulty was in line with the OG GameBoy experience... Very impressive to pull off all this off in a week!

Loved the art and world. Made me feel similar to when I playing on my GBC many years ago. Was this a solo project? There's so much content and polish for the 10 day jam!

Amazing work, so many cute sprites, really impressive how you did this all in that short time! Keep going!

Feels just like playing Zelda on the Gameboy! Good job, only some minor bugs but apart from that this is a really good entry.

Really good game, it feels very close to an actual Game Boy game thanks to the graphics and music ! Some things could have been improved : a confirmation before buying upgrades would be nice, because during my first try I accidentally bought a health upgrade even though I didn't even have a sword or shovel yet.  Also, the digging hitbox can be a little frustrating when digging to the side. Other than that, great job :)

Nice palette, the purple and orange is unlike anything else in the jam and it stays readable outdoors and indoors both. and a four slot save file screen sells it as a real cartridge game. nice job
