He is also kinda hot.

I enjoyed flirting with the demon. I was impressed that you had a whole case file thing, that must have taken some work. The different expressions the demon had looked great. The sound effects worked great.

The characters names where the same color, I think that could be improved so they are easier to differentiate.

I got the Pact of Silent Truth ending. Felt like the good ending. I had fun.

Thank you for making this game.

Developer

glad you think so LOL

that's a very fair point on character names, I'll definitely change the color up

thank you, glad you liked the documents too, I'm thinking of cleaning up the code and then posting both the docs and the menu as free to use assets later on

This was really cool. I ended up getting Ending 2 where you bind with Rue. I loved all the options you had when talking with him, and the time system puts so much pressure on things. It's a subtle kind of horror that I really love. That moment when Rue leaned into me genuinely made me jump in a way that wasn't cheap and was fully natural. It was great. Great visuals too, simple but very effective, especially when paired with the cinematography.

Thank you! I'm glad to hear that scene was effective to that extent,

Also glad to hear about the subtle horror, was a bit worried, but I think mostly because I wrote him so much that his threat and tension has become less apparent to me lol

I just played through ending 6 of this (planning on playing more when I have the time) and it was really enjoyable! I'm not the best at putting my thoughts into proper sentences so I hope you don't mind that I'm making a list of things I liked! :)

  • The dialogue is really engaging, I like the way the way Rue and the MC interact!
  • I could get a feel for the world and how it's structured through the way they spoke and reacted
  • The way you went about keeping assets to a minimum while still using them very effectively
  • The silence at that pivotal moment before the music shifts really had the impact I assume you were going for (being vague to avoid spoilers)
  • The sound effect of the clock ticking and the electrical(?) buzz really added a lot to the atmosphere

I'm sure there's way more that I liked, but those are some of the things that immediately stood out to me! This is very well made, excited to play more!! :)

super happy you liked it, and glad about your third point, yeah I was definitely going for higher impact using silence and music at that point!

I love the way that silence can be used for impact so the moment it happened, I knew I had to mention it! :)

Developer(+1)

right? and I like that it's pretty high impact without needing a lot more assets if used cleverly!
