This is a chore but if you want to, could you try opening a Guest profile in Edge on one of the machines, and then open the game in that profile?

Normally the preloader runs once on a machine to download the game, then it gets cached and you don’t have to download it again unless there’s an update. In your case it seems like the local database entry was set up wrong or got screwed up for some reason, so now the page crashes every time it touches the IndexedDB.

I was surprised that it happened for you on two machines, but maybe if your Edge profile is being synced to both machines, that could happen-? Or just very unlucky! ’^^

If the game works for you in a blank profile, then that would lend credence to my current hypothesis of what happened, and I could maybe fork + patch either lovejs or the Emscripten tools, and fix it.

I will try this when I get the chance. At work for the next few days.

** EDIT ** After getting home I tried opening it in Google Chrome and it worked perfectly fine.

Hm, ok, thanks! If you do get time and wanna try an Edge Guest profile, let me know what happens. I’m glad you can at least play on Chrome though!

I went and tried it with the guest profile  in Edge and it worked just fine as well. Sorry, at first I wasn't sure how to do the guest profile until I looked and was like, oh okay that's easy.

Aha! Thank you for testing this, it lends credibility to my thinking re: the bug. I really appreciate you taking the time to check!
