How did you interpret the themes?
My video game is a combination inspired by the board game Checkers, featuring RPG elements like stat progression, some third-person combat, and a narrative component—along with "Souls-like" influences and elemental powers. The concept is to tell a story using checkers pieces—elements that usually have nothing to do with powers, clan warfare, or board game strategy.

What are you entering?

Both Game and Fan Art

Engine and tools used?
For the engine, I used Unity 6, as it is the one I am most experienced with; the 3D art was created entirely by me using Blender.

The music and sound effects come from Pixabay, a website offering various free resources; contributors include the Freesound community and DRAGON-STUDIO. I also used orchestral background music from the same site to evoke the atmosphere of a war story. Regarding special effects (VFX), I utilized assets from the Unity Store, created my own, and modified existing free assets.

As for the code, I leveraged credits obtained upon registering with Bezi, primarily to optimize performance, handle debugging tasks, and prototype particle effects. I developed the user interface (UI) logic and other scripts myself; I also used Claude to prototype mechanics—which I subsequently adapted and expanded for the game—while optimizing the code to ensure it runs smoothly in web browsers. Additionally, I employed an "Anti-Gravity" agent to detect potential code duplication and errors, as well as to manage exceptions.

Thank you

I played it for a few, not sure if I can change characters…since it was in another language. But it seems like there is something there.

For now, it is the story of an Air—a piece that dominates the air.

This reminds me of bullet chess, you should try it.  Also i like ho there is an option to change language to espanol and a save option (didnt try it).

Hello, yes, there is an option for Spanish and English.

Great and unique game - but the thing I loved the most was definitely that cloud background. It felt so surreal to be high in the sky and playing checkers - and it evoked a very strange feeling that I can’t describe. Otherwise, good and fun game! Love the slowdown that happens when you kill enemies, and I also really like how you have to actually think about where you’re standing and react just in time to avoid attacks - most games either are too easy or too hard to make the user act strategically, but this game has hit the sweet spot with that. Progression feels really natural and smooth so well done!

Thanks for playing the game.
