If you’re interested, one thing I can also help with is the hosting and website of the mods (if you’re interested in something like that) as I have a server to host them.
Sure thing. I know a little bit about programming, but I also used Code to help me with the trickiest part of the work. The relationship system itself and adding male NPCs was the most complex part, because there’s a lot of hard-coded stuff in the game. If you’d like to share what you have, I can take a look to check for compatibility.
Hosting an unofficial forum for mods here: https://venusmods.com/
It is in the very EARLY stages and isn't ready yet, so...don't expect it to fully work. I'll make updates today as I go along so it looks nicer/works properly. You might see it go down a couple of times while I am working on it.
Need to consider a LOT of things before opening it up. If you would like an account, please message me here.
Edit: :/ looking into the legal parts of this.
Edit 2: Might do no-image/community site or only for approved users. It sucks but not looking to get sued.
Edit 3: I think I'll spin up a discord server and use the site as a showcase for the mods that are worth showcasing. I think that is a safer bet.
I agree, it’s better to be cautious. I took a look at your repository and took the liberty of downloading it to test it in dev mode.
There are some pretty significant differences between my build and yours, to the point where putting together a completely different modpack might be a bit impractical without having to redo a lot of things. Still, your mods are great, and I like the idea of sharing game modifications with the rest of the community. You and the dev can count on me for that.
For sure! If you're interested, I've started the discord, which you can access here: https://discord.gg/mH5kWN6GF
Link is good for 30 days.
I'll make an official forum post but you can access venusmods.com for a link as well to the discord at any time.
