More like plate-forme pixel art type

(+1)

This is inherently subjective. IMO graphical style is separate from its graphics quality.

I am more attracted to quality graphics than gameplay, but good gameplay is what makes me stay. I think that goes for most people.

About your example specifically, the sprite sizes don’t really match. Some sprites are more blocky than others, which leads to a messy aesthetic. I think if you handle that, results will improve tenfold.

I wasn't asking for a philosophical debate on art. I was just specifying that the game is a pixel art platformer so you understood the context of my original question.

You asked a question about a subjective matter. There will always be more than zero people who play “retro games”, so the answer is yes, although dubious.
