couldn't quite figure out what to do in game, and once I walked over to the chest to try to read the note in there, the player collider collided with the hand or something and flung me a thousand miles away.

I did get it working on the steam frame though, pretty cool, thanks for providing linux builds.

Nice idea, good graphics.

Tested on windows 10: had really jaggy controls and at some point my hands got really small.. and did not have smooth turning via controllers idk, maybe just a windows build.

Note: to launch the windows build had to rename the thisone to thisone.exe

The general idea is good and the atmosphere was there. After watching Unit327 gameplay I noticed that I did not read any of the notes, oops...

Played on Windows.

Man, it’s always terrifying to see videos made on what i make. There was no audio did not have time.

Really I made quite a lot of ideas and was not able to execute most of them due to work in the jam week. (like 20 solid notebook pages of story and gameplay that did not even see the light of day)

I think these XR jams happen every 6 months? Thats just 6 months more of practice to get done before the next one this game is already immensely better than the last one.(you made a video on the last one as well)

The notes and that story was made in like an hour or so while super tired just to have something…. no clue why but i spent way too much time learning shader code for the first time for the rain and ocean, that was a choice…. not a great one…. but a choice. It’s all good learned more and more for next time.

Learning shader code or whatever random  dev thing is half the point of a jam, keep doing that and eventually you have all the tools in your toolkit ready to go!

I do think story is very hard to pull off in a week, because it requires a lot of play testing with others to get right. You did great to pull off the vibe, the elements were definitely there just needed more time to finish it.

I have to complain about the lack of audio and the small hand when picking the note from the chest. :D

But congrats on getting this entry done during such a busy week. :)
