Hey! With FQ9 ending soon, I wanted to let you know that I won't be able to cover your game until after the event. If you're okay with waiting, just keep the game on the event and I'll be getting around to it over the next couple of months or so. :)

I like the game, but honestly, the tutorial really frustrated me, there's way too much text for this kind of game. I'd much rather have a more visual tutorial instead of text-based explanations

  • Youtube Link / Twitch Link
  • Graphics : Fine for the most part but it does feel a little inconsistent?
    • E.G.The Different customers, some feel like they're still a WIP and just a placeholder
  • GUI : Mostly fine, but certain things really could do with a touch up [e.g. the bar above the cooking grill , it looks like it's out of a flash game]
  • Performance : Mostly Fine
  • Music / Sfx :
    • Music : Completely absent / Bugged?
    • SFX : Lackluster / Bugged?
  • Gameplay :  Somewhat ok, but currently plagued by issues.
  • Misc Issues :
    • Rather large issue on startup, had an error and no music.
    • You can "skewer" a thing but it won't register so you accidentally drop it when you let go of click
  • Notes :
    • The forced tutorial was a bit grating
    • Certain things might to be clearer on them being a "Relish" / Garnish (E.G. I dropped bacon thinking it was able to be skewered
  • Final Thoughts : Overall the game seems like it's mostly another roguelike type of thing but atm it's hindered by the bugs I encountered, I'd need to give it a try in the future to reevaluate it.

I loved the look and feel of this game!  The gameplay was smooth and very enjoyable.  Some general comments:

  1. The SFX slider could use a small sound effect as the player adjusts it so they know what the current levels are.
  2. At the end of the first Skewer, telling the player to go to the shop would be helpful
  3. In the shop, the labels for the items to take a box blends slightly into the background.  giving the selections a background of some sort would help
  4. At the beginning of the second cooking order, the game froze.  I assume it has something to do with running out of dispense tokens and having an empty second skewer or possibly something with the relish tutorial
  5. I'm not sure if order modifiers (ie. dung balls) are tutorialized.  Quickly displaying it / prompting the player at the beginning of the order would be good
  6. In the shop, the right-most item isn't tutorialized.  I assume this is a reroll button, but there also isn't a tooltip.
  7. I assumed all items would be tagged with the modifier I bought, but it didn't seem to be the case.  Which felt odd
  8. The button for Endless Mode didn't seem to work

I love playing cozy cooking games like yours! Choosing kebap and Mr.Ding Allong surely secured you points for me😌 I'd like to mention 2 things I faced in the demo:
1- A JS error: I faced this error as I tried to press on the full screen. I'm playing on Safari from my Mac. Here's a screenshot of the message that popped up:

2- I put my ingredient in the glass box, but I couldn't break it with the hammer. I kept holding the hammer and leaving it by the box, but it didn't break for some reason. Maybe I was doing something wrong about it. πŸ™ˆ

Looking forward to seeing its full version. And don't forget to add background music to put the players right in the atmosphere πŸ˜‰

This is a very early demo and we are very excited for your feedback!
