BRO, THIS IS SUCH A CHAOTIC WAY TO GET HOME! ๐Ÿš“๐Ÿš—๐Ÿ’ฅ๐Ÿ˜‚

Turning a bank robbery into a long police chase is a really fun interpretation of the theme. The car-to-car jumping, stomping on police vehicles, shooting, and grabbing ammo while moving makes the gameplay feel fast and satisfying, and the pixel art style fits that arcade energy really well. I also really liked the idea of upgrades between stages it gives the chase a nice sense of progression.

For improvement, I think the biggest thing would be balancing the upgrades so itโ€™s harder to become overpowered too quickly. A little more variety in the background, enemies, or music could also keep the later stages feeling fresh. Some extra visual feedback when landing or taking damage could make the already satisfying gameplay feel even juicier.

REALLY FUN ARCADE-STYLE JAM ENTRY! ๐Ÿš—๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿš“ The combination of driving, platforming, shooting, and the police chase works surprisingly well. Great work, and good luck with the jam! ๐ŸŽฎโœจ

Nice game! Jumping from car to car while the police is chasing you is just hilarious and the gameplay feels really intuitive, I got into it right away :D The stomping feels super satisfying. I did find a little bug though: if you spam LMB right after landing on a car, the ammo basically reloads to max every time, so you can just keep shooting forever... maybe worth a look after the jam :D
The pixel art is really on point and the colors fit together very well! And the day night cycle at the end... I love it! That's such a nice touch and makes the whole run feel more alive and also fits the theme very well.
I also like the style of the text, it fits the game, but at times it was a bit hard to read for me. It also seems like the font doesn't fully work in the HTML version (?), since some symbols weren't shown at all. Maybe a font with full character support would already fix both.
Music and SFX work well with the arcade feeling, but some more variation would be nice, after a while the same sounds and the same track get a bit repetitive. Running away from the cops all the way home is a really fun take on the theme, too! Really enjoyed this one :)

This is awesome.

Like bullet hell lite with battle racing and platformer all built under the dynamic of cops and robbers. Very engaging with a fun little opening cutscene.

The horn with the jump was the only complaint I had. It was a little loud and jarring. I didnโ€™t hate that it existed, so probably more of a volume mix fix.

Overall, the story, the visuals, and the gameplay all locked me in. Solid entry!!

I love the idea to jump and stomb other car and sfx feedback is really good, I wish it can jump a bit higher!

Thanks for trying the game and sharing your feedback. Just so you know, you can increase jump height and duration among other things by upgrading the car

Very fun game with tight gameplay and art. This is overall a clever design, and I wasn't expecting rogue mechanics added to the mix. The upgrades were a tad overpowered though, I broke the game fairly quick. Everything feels very polish, great work!

Super awesome arcade style game!

In terms of gameplay, this was really fun! I really enjoyed how fast paced the game was, and the having both the options of bullets and pogoing on enemies to kill them was really satisfying, and I thought the mechanic of getting ammo back from  jumping on other vehicles was great! The roguelike element of choosing new upgrades between every stage was cool, and well executed. The only complaint I can make is that it is pretty easy to get overpowered in this game, I was able to get an upgrade that basically gave me infinite ammo, which I feel broke the balance too much, and I could defeat the final boss with ease. Maybe simply tweak the upgrades to be less random, as it seemed to look like they were randomly generated.

Visually the game was very charming and polished. There isn't much to say here other than it fairly simplistic but still very good to look at it, and all the vehicle sprites look very clean. I think the only thing that could add to the game, is to add props to the sidewalk/BG such as buildings, benches, manholes, bins, or foliage.

The music matched the energy of the game great, and the sound effects all matched accurately. No flaws to me.

The theme interpretation was fairly simple, but well executed. I can't say much more than what I have already said about other similar interpretations, other than easy to understand and perfectly good execution.

Overall, a very fun game that doesn't overstay it's welcome, and does everything at least well.

Really fun game, great mechanics - simple to understand but you can do a lot with them. The game also felt very responsive in terms of audio visual cues for different player actions. Unfortunately i couldnt get past the first stage since it was too difficult for me. I found the jump to be a bit difficult to execute although it was very satisfying when it did happen perfectly! The artstyle was really well made, and fit the chaotic nature of the gameplay! I would have loved to play, more, but i just suck at these fast paced driving style games :D Well done on the game though, great entry!

First off- I congratulate you on the best approach to this game jam- making a game about a jumping car. Now, cynics could say "kkcn only says that, because he ALSO made a game about a jumping car", but that's completely backwards- I made a game about a jumping car, because that's was the best way to approach this jam, as you'd surely agree!

Jokes aside- great game. I didn't finish it- the last wave proved too much for me at 23:00, but I'll probably try to finish it tomorrow. Graphics and sound work together to really sell the JUICE of the game. Crushing the cop cars feels great, so does lining a couple of them to damage them all in a single shot. It's simple to learn, fast, stylish and hella juicy! Great work!

First of all, I want to say sorry to all the bystanders that I destroyed to get bullets XD.

Very fun game! I love jumping on cars, where you can just pass from one car to another.

The "juice" of the game was very fun!

Good job!
