I'm working on a Unity based indie hockey game. I'm doing this independently, in my spare time, first game ever, but it's already in a really decent playability state. What I'm not happy with is my models for the players and goalies. I have a crudely cobbled together model that leans heavily on silly/fun, and I've also got an option in game to use more realistic models I've purchased through the unity asset store. Ideally I want a mix between the two, and something that's well rigged up, has a bunch of poses already made, and has good texture maps to generate different jerseys for teams with.
I also need to separate some parts of the models... The gloves need to be detachable (for hockey fights, and referee model reuse), the helmets too (get checked hard enough and maybe your helmet flies off), sticks of course, maybe even skates (some silly arcade fights where you could throw a skate). Goalies need the same - blocker, trapper, mask all removable, and additionally pads need to be separate and move independently so save poses work correctly (pads extend past the knees and in a 'butterfly' save, they sort of move from the knees so they sit parallel to the ice on their sides.
I'm honestly not sure what a fair budget is for this, but happy to discuss it and come up with something reasonable - I'm a software engineer by day, I know time and skills are valuable.
