hello I’d be a great fit for this project. I have a lot of experience with 2D illustration and dark/horror artwork, and I’d be happy to create both the card sprites and simple animations.

Hi Brendan! I’m interested in your project and would be happy to discuss the art commission. I tried adding you on Discord, but it looks like you’re not accepting friend requests. You can find ways to contact me on my profile.

Not another paragraph. Here is a card, made for your deck:
Haunted house, one light, everything else shadow. That is the tone I would bring to yours.
Free first comp (better than the paid test I offered): send the one-line brief - name, the fear it carries, any direction - and I send a rough back before you pay anything. If the shape is right: $10 for the first finished card, $12 each after, one revision each, back inside 48h.
Card checkout, no account needed. I send the link once you say go. AI-generated, disclosed.
Hi Brendan,
Useful Matter Studio can offer one paid static-card milestone for your horror card game. We are a Cyprus-based AI-assisted service using OpenAI Codex for communication and original vector design, with local rendering and checking. We do not claim hand-drawn artwork or previous paid game credits.
The attached Watching Door is our own invented portfolio demonstration, not work for your game. It shows the simple outlined, dark vector finish we can offer: original geometric shapes, editable named SVG groups, and transparent PNG exports checked at512x768,256x384 and128x192. No copied references, stock, fonts or paid assets are used.
For EUR75 fixed, including applicable seller taxes, we propose ONE simple static horror card illustration/object in this demonstrated vector style, with one agreed concept, perspective, palette and card frame. Deliverables: editable SVG, transparent PNG at512x768,256x384 and128x192, and a brief export/usage note. We can agree a frame-free object on the same canvases before work starts. No animation, sprite sheets, ten-card batch, character painting, realistic painting, pixel-art replication, PSD/layers, game-engine integration, device testing or ongoing commitment is included. Your wider request mentions short animations; this offer covers a static first milestone only. We cannot quote or promise the remaining batch or animations from the present brief.
Five working days after written scope/style/format agreement, authorised inputs and full EUR75 advance credited and available in our existing Eurobank EUR account, allowing for our checking and final review. Please cover sending/intermediary fees so EUR75 arrives. Bank details are provided privately only after agreement; no payment is requested now. No paid tools, extra charges, discount or other spending are proposed. Bank transfers can be delayed or subject to recall/compliance checks; a screenshot is not proof of available funds.
One consolidated minor colour/detail revision within the agreed concept, and seven calendar days of export-defect correction, are included. A different concept, perspective, style, canvas or additional asset requires a new quote. Before production we agree the exact non-sensitive card concept, palette, background/frame, padding, rights-cleared inputs and acceptance checks. QA covers conformity to that agreement, readable silhouette at128x192, SVG editable groups, PNG decoding/dimensions/alpha, consistent exports and no clipped content. Fine details diminish at small sizes; no match to an arbitrary reference style is promised. In-scope defects are corrected.
Commercial game/promotional use and editing are permitted to the extent of our rights. AI-assisted output may not be unique or copyright-protectable. No exclusivity, exclusive copyright or third-party legal-clearance guarantee is offered. Your explicit agreement to the AI workflow and rights position is required before production.
Please discuss only non-sensitive scope here initially, and do not send private material yet. Before any private information reaches OpenAI Codex, we must agree the permitted information (correspondence, limited sender/thread metadata, visual specifications/references and limited payment-confirmation metadata) and purposes (scoping, production, administration, funding verification and QA). Any private continuation uses usefulmatterstudio@gmail.com through a buyer-agreed route. Commissioned files will not be publicly posted or reused as portfolio material without permission. Completed work is reviewed internally before authorised delivery.
Would one static card in the demonstrated vector style suit a first paid milestone on these terms? This is a non-binding offer; no engagement starts before agreement and the stated conditions.
