Very interesting gameplay, and the sound design does an excellent job! I was too excited to find out what the story was about, so the first time I moved the couch... oops, dead end. 😅

The second time, I suspected that I might actually become a zombie myself. Really interesting storyline!

Thank you so much! We’re really glad you enjoyed the game! The way the game is set up, everyone can have a slightly different first playthrough, so it makes me really happy to hear that the story came across the way we intended during your playthrough and that it earned your suspicions about the character. Thank you for playing!

Really loved the point and click mechanics! The boarded up, dim-lit bedroom at the start immediately gave me flashbacks of the Don't Escape flash games from back then. The multiple endings plus house movement is also really entertaining. Now I'm curious about their fate after the true ending.

I tried out a couple endings of this and it was quite interesting! The art looks really good and I really like the concept of thinking that locking them in the basement will solve anything!! The opening segment is also amazing, I really like how it draws you in with the promise to protect them only to hit the player with that... I think it could benefit from an ending guide though as I struggled at first to get anything other than one specific ending, but I think with more time, I could work it out! :)

This was really cool. I have never played a visual novel with this type of gameplay before. It is incredibly creative, the sound effects are on point, and the world you built around the infection is a great idea. Really good job!!

Developer

Thank you so much!! I’m really glad you enjoyed it! My team and I had a lot of fun experimenting with the gameplay and building out the infection and world, so it means a lot that those parts stood out to you! Thanks for playing!

This was such a well executed idea. The sfx were absolutely great! The chain sound, the sfx when speaking, and even the footsteps down the stairs. There was just enough animation in the character and detail in the backgrounds to feel immersed too. Nice work!
