Match-3 games are always easy to get hooked on, and this one was no exception.
Yooo that was a pretty fun game, I like the brewing mechanics you went with it's pretty clever!
Like the others said, I somehow didn't expect to see a match-3 game here, almost forgot the genre existed for all these years, it's great to see it again :)
Overall pretty good stuff, great work!
it is cool, i love the cute graphics and icons. i was not sure why i cannot move some tiles, they will knocking each other. also the explanations could be more intuitive, visual, not with text because it isa casual game, right? not rpg. but i think it isa nice blend between retro rpg and casual tiles breaker. i give plenty of stars.
Enjoyable game! :) I think the esthetic would come together even better when the UI would also be pixel art all around.
Ah, I thought I would not see a match3 game in this jam, even though the genre fits the theme so well. It was nice to spot this gem. rpgmaker aesthetics combined with potion brewing through match3 is something I have never seen before. 😄
Great job! ❤️
Brewing potions through a match-3 really suits the alchemy theme. The cozy look and sounds are lovely too.
The dialogue writing made me laugh out loud — the newspaper UI and the two interns' reactions to the potions were great comedic touches. The two-stage match-3 (refine then transmute) adds nice depth beyond a standard match-3. Would love to see more visual feedback (particle effects, sound) when a transmutation completes, to make it feel even more satisfyin
