I want to join, but I can only write in English. Does it make sense for me to join? I can make a translation with Google translate, but it will likely not be a great localisation.
Of course! You’re more than welcome to join!
We expect many participants to be Japanese speakers, so having an option to switch languages in your game would be helpful, but an English-only game is perfectly fine too.
If you’d like to include a Japanese translation, tools such as Google Translate, DeepL, or ChatGPT could be useful.
If you use generative AI for translation, please follow itch.io’s guidelines and accurately tag your project using the “AI Disclosure” section on your project’s edit page.

We look forward to having you join us!
