Was nice to play a game with no clear goals, just wandering around and taking in the environment. when I used to play Skyrim, sometimes I would just explore places and talk to people, this gives me a very similar feeling, and then to top it off, its a familiar place. love all the cape towny elements, especially the frikin plane 😭
art style and audio slap, great job!
I really liked the art style and the unusual palette that somehow works really well for the game. The plane made me laugh - it haunts me too and I live in a completely different suburb. It also helps, along with the people, to enhance a Cape Townness about this that is so subtle (in a good way) that it probably only resonates with Capetonians but still tells a story for anyone else.
My only complaint is the text, specifically the spelling and punctuation errors. You can fix all of that in five minutes by just copying it into Word (or, better, LibreOffice Writer) and looking for the red squiggles. Please give your text the same amount of care that you give to your narrative!

After the jam has fully concluded I want to go back in add more NPC's that I didn't have time to work on, correct and finish the text and fully finish the story (with an actual ending to the game lol)

This game reminded me more of Undertale/2D pixel mini-games from FNAF 2. The color composition and transparency blend quite well, quite intrigued by its depth

Found this quite engaging, was so interesting to just wonder around and check things and people out. The Mavericks plane was a cool touch.
There is something oddly calming about this, just being alone with your thoughts admiring the city that surrounds you.
