Great concept and artwork, wish it was playable! :)

Hope you decide to bring this further along, congrats on what you managed to accomplish!

Developer

Thank you for the kind words. We highly appreciate it.

Yes the playability is an issue. Hopefully next year we will submit one that is playable on tabletop simulator. We might also try to post this one on tabletop simulator as well after voting.

I finally made it through all the cards. Love all the information and variety in the cars. I especially like the cards that you had time to draw yourselves. While I couldn't play it to test it, it looks like a fun game and one that I would play with friends! Great job!

Developer

Thank you so much for the kind words and going through all the cards. We appreciate it!

Truly impressive! I was unfortunately unable to test it out myself, but I like the individual and cooperative aspects of the rules and can definitely see the huge amount of work and care put into it. I also see a lot of potential for a session to resemble an episode of Parks and Recreation (which I love)!

Love the amount of work gone into the cards and how they look. Would defo grab a physical version if I could. I might try get that cards downloaded and give it play. Alot of work and though put into the rules too they look well balanced and proffessional. Great work

Thank you for the really kind words! This is so kind. We loved spending time on it.

I would personally recommend waiting until the voting period ends to print the cards because we will upload the version without any Canva Stock images and all hand drawn.

I will certainly will come back to play it

Blown away by just how much has gone into the making of this. Very impressive. Love the artwork and the overall theme. Great job

Soo many cards, with lots of info, nice work. I couldn't  play it (I'd go bankrupt printing it :p) but from the rules it seems like it should be interesting to play. The trailer was useful for highlighting the various aspects but would have loved a gameplay walkthrough to get a better idea of the moment to moment.

Thank you for the feedback. Highly a appreciate the kind words. I totally get not printing it haha.

I was looking into getting online websites that print cards for me affordably haha.

We got another comment on a playthrough so definitely a common thought. We should definitely look into that next year. Maybe also making it available on tabletop simulator.

I'm impressed with HOW MANY cards have been created!  Lots of wonderful information, and plenty of possibilities to trip up players and lots of ways for them to overcome them.  Would love to see a play through. The rules read well, but it left me wondering on what gameplay might actually look like, including pacing - especially with different numbers of players. Well done!

Developer

Thank you for the feedback. We highly appreciate you taking your time to go through everything.

A play through might be definitely a good idea, especially and hopefully for next jam.

Nice to see someone made game about going green. Unfortunately, can't test physical format games now :) Downloaded cards to check what's on them - yep, there is a lot of information, so game has quite big educational value. Judging on rules I believe that using these rules many games could be made, just with different cards - so it does not look very unique.

According to art in cards - you mixed photos, hand drawn pictures, and, possibly some AI generated pictures (for example, one with bubble globe and tree in hand, page 130, but not sure - might be good photoshop too). Mixing drawn pictures and photos does not effect game looks very well, so I'd suggest to use only one of these type of imaging to make it look more unique.

Big plus for the idea of giving information about going green in fun format :)

Thank you for the feedback it is highly appreciated.

We did mix photos and hand drawn images mostly because of lack of time. We would have liked to have everything hand drawn but it was just not possible at the time.

All the non hand drawn images were taken from Canva from their free stock images. I tried to make sure no AI was used on the images. Which I hope is the case.

We are also working on a trailer for the game too that Jern is allowing us to use.

There was a lot of research to try and make sure that any pictures that couldn't be drawn from our team were either taken from publicly available photos or from other sources that explicitly state they do not use AI. If someone lied about that, then we apologize, and will remove them as soon as we are able. However, we made every good faith effort we could to make sure that no AI images went into the assets for the game, but time constraints didn't allow us to have custom art for each individual card.  Continued work after the jam judging period would be focused on updating art and making things look more cohesive in general.

As for the comment about these rules being possible to extend to a lot of different games, I feel like that is something you could say about any particular mechanic. What we feel is innovative is taking this collection/completion mechanic into the green space and showing how seemingly small impacts, especially across multiple people, can snowball into bigger and bigger impacts.

I do not have the abilty to play it but I downloaded the cards and instructions and it for sure seems fun. wow 170 thats a lot of work very impressive and they all have great infomation on.  (I did not read them all) a lot of work clearly went into this very impressed and shows not every game has to be digital.
