bust-a-move bullethell. Very creative idea, I enjoyed it a lot. The one thing I wish is that the current color showed near the player character so I didn't have to keep looking into the top right to see what I'm about to shoot.

What a game design! I have never seen an idea like this before, even though I have played dozens if not hundreds of match3 games.

It would be awesome if there was gravity between the balls. Both between individual entities and between clusters. Right now you get situations where you split a part off and it just moves along with you on its own. I think that might also be why matching a chain of balls sometimes fails right now despite them visually looking connected in a group of four or five.

But overall, the game is absolutely excellent! Well done! ❤️

Really likes a more action-packed version of a bubble shooter! Small suggestion: instead of only showing the next bubbles you’re going to fire in the sidebar, also make an indicator for the current bubble on the playable character itself. That way you don’t have to take your eyes of the action.

Super creative! Combining something very casual (bubble shot) with something midcore (movement and need to avoid enemies) totally clicked with me. Absolutely love the aesthetics too!

The little menu animations are really nice ! The game uses the theme well and requires skill to anticipate movements of the player/the slime and the color rotation. Great entry!

I spam it hoping for the best, well I got killed early but it was fun. Then I keep on trying and managed to advanced constantly. Love the retro vide, the pixel-art and the execution. Happy Defolding!
Keep up the good work :D

The slime character designs are adorable and the "How To Play" screen explained the match-3-to-pop mechanic clearly before I even started. I liked that colliding with slimes actually hurts you, which forces real positioning decisions. My run ended very fast (lost all 3 hearts within seconds of wave 1 starting) — a slightly gentler ramp at the very start of wave 1 would give new players more room to learn the aiming before the pressure ramps up.

This game is so cool. Perfect mix of both retro & shooting type. And I loved the art style. Great work!
