What’s most frustrating is that there’s no response at all. Just silence

Thursday Update: Welcome to DAY 50 of total silence from the administration! This thread has now reached over 650 views, becoming a monument to Itch.io's completely broken system.

As @Simpl_pseudocode perfectly analyzed, this platform acts like a complete "black hole" with zero communication. To show you how dead Itch.io's support is: today I tried to publish a landing page for my project on Newgrounds. Their moderation team is so active and efficient that they reviewed and handled the submission within a single hour! Meanwhile, Itch.io administrators have been completely invisible and ignoring ticket #401859 for 50 days straight. This total lack of consistency only breeds resentment among serious independent developers.

We have handled everything perfectly manually on our end (including the NSFW/Content warnings suggested by @hechelion). Our coalition with @Simpl_pseudocode, @Felisomnia, @ilya_creator, and @Sala193 will not stop. Can a living administrator finally do their job today, look into this thread, and manually fix the search indexing? Independent creators deserve basic respect, not 7 weeks of total neglect!

Thanks for sharing this, and honestly, the comparison with Newgrounds says it all. I recently had a similar experience with AlternativeTo.net, and I was no longer used to such an excellent level of user support, which makes the comparison with what we're experiencing here even more jarring. 50 days of complete silence for a support ticket isn't just a delay, it proves the exact point about the lack of transparent systems and standard procedures I mentioned earlier.

As I said, I'm not going to stress over this long-term since moving elsewhere is always an option, but it really is a shame to see independent creators who put genuine effort into their projects being treated with this level of total neglect since, at the end of the day, they are the ones who created the content that allowed Itch.io to become what it is today. I'm not even angry, just deeply disappointed.
