How did you use AI?
Claude (Anthropic) built the game with me. It wrote all of the code (Lua, in LÖVE), including Dustin's behavior, plus the narrator's lines, the music and sound effects (through an FM synth it wrote), every sprite (drawn in code), the font and the build scripts. ChatGPT's image generation painted the five room backgrounds and the cover from prompts Claude wrote. The tricks: Claude's scripts convert each painting to the 1989 EGA palette, paint out what the game shouldn't show, and cut out the props you can knock over. Claude measured the floor, surfaces and hiding spots from each painting to build the room maps. And on every build, bots play every room without a screen, checking that every exit can be reached, the points add up to 100, and nobody starts in Dustin's beam. The AI isn't in the gameplay: Dustin is a hand-tuned state machine.

How does your game fit the restriction?
Every input moves the cat: walk, jump, dash and crouch. There's no attack, no interact button and no clickable menu. Choices are places: three cat flaps choose your class, and two spots in the ward continue or restart the night. Things happen because you walk into them, jump under them or knock them over. On the ride home you steer the robot by leaning, which is still just the cat moving. The game pauses itself when the window loses focus, so there's no pause key either.

I really enjoyed this, great characters and art style! I had fun exploring and working out how to progress and avoiding the robot and hunting the gravy! Good job with the helpful and funny tips, and I loved the ride home! :D Great use of AI, thanks for sharing, really well done!!
fun game, the art style is really cool. The grumpy looking cat is good
GREAT GAME! I really enjoyed playing through it. I like the level design and pixel art, you felt like you were a part of the scene. I am looking forward to the part two!

Funny little game, and I was expecting to be able to jump on the roomba, but I guess it just caught me when I did that. Here is my playthrough:
Visually great, fun mechanic, funny game. Couldn't figure out how to get on top of the fridge. In the kitchen where you walk behind a table, you only visually walk behind 2 of the legs, and in front of the other 2.
Nice, kinda reminds me of alley cat. like the style real retro!
I loved it! Really well made and I love the use of a narrator. One of the best so far!
