this is great, the ui and tutorial were nicely done. The art is cool, and gameplay is a lot of fun

This is really good. Good visuals, pretty fun. It definitely suffers from the restriction but still manages to be fun.  

Very fun game, well done! I loved the impact of the animations and the effects, the upgrades, the enemies, the combos, and the boss fights! Nice!

i liked it! kinda samurai pizza cats meets mario meets action game thing going on, well done, bosses original as well.

This is very very good. I don't think the comments here so far have correctly handed you your flowers for all the stuff this game has going right for it.

What you nailed:
- took the requirements seriously, integrated menu and upgrades into movement mechanics
- upgrades expand gameplay space significantly, feel meaningful
-advanced movement behaviors (ducking, dashing)
-useful tutorial
-good feeling platforming, especially good feeling jump-on-enemy-head loop
-probably lots more stuff I won't get to see because playing jam games all the way through is time consuming

Again, great job. This is currently my favorite submission. I think you went far beyond the usual design space for a 1 week project and made something that really stands out. Seems a little bit like an ad for your platform, but I notice the other middleware platforms are absent from this competition and if they had tried I doubt they'd have done what you did.
